'I Don't Have A Plan B' – RFK Confident He Can Defeat Biden, Reveals What He Really Thinks About Donald Trump

Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (D-MA) stated confidently that he will be defeating incumbent President Joe Biden in the Democratic presidential nomination, boldly stating, “I don’t have a plan B.”

Kennedy spoke with Fox News on Thursday in New Hampshire, answering several different questions ranging from campaign-related inquiries to his rising numbers in the polls.

The son of the late attorney general appeared before the New Hampshire Senate, where any declared presidential candidate from either party is being offered the opportunity this cycle to speak before the key election’s state legislature's upper chamber.

The Democratic presidential candidate spoke of how some of the early support for his campaign could come from name recognition. The Kennedy family has produced many notable figures, with RFK Jr. being the son of the late Attorney General and Senator Robert F. Kennedy Sr., as well as the nephew of both former President John F. Kennedy Jr. and longtime Massachusetts Senator Ted Kennedy.

"It looks like it’s a conspiracy of different causes, including name recognition," Kennedy told reporters. "I think there’s also an appetite in this country for something different, for something outside of what people are being offered by essentially what is a uni-party."

The 69-year-old believed that some of his support is stemming from the discontent surrounding President Biden whose administration has seen declining support from both sides of the aisle for years. He highlighted his support from people outside of the two political parties, claiming, “Our polling shows that I’m doing better among independents than any of the other candidates.”

“I welcome support from libertarians. I have tremendous support in that cohort,” he added.

Kennedy was also asked numerous questions about Joe Biden, including if he found the incumbent president to have the mental and physical ability to continue serving as president, to which Kennedy responded, “I’m going to let other people answer that. I think all of you guys and the American public can make a judgment about that as well as I can."

He was much quicker when questioned if Biden was doing a good job in office to which Kennedy quickly answered with “I don’t think so in my view,” and that “I think the war [in Ukraine] was a huge mistake for our country. I think we should have stayed out.”

The D.C.-born politico had numerous other problems with the Biden administration, including COVID policies that “shifted $4 trillion in wealth from the middle class and poured it into this new aristocracy,” and “inviting Wall Street in to craft our domestic policies, which leave out virtually all of the middle class.”

The topic of 45th President Donald Trump also arose, as Kennedy has drawn many comparisons to the New York businessman over their policy opinions, to which Kennedy made responded by saying, “I think we both have populist opinions.”

"There’s a lot of discontent people in this country who like Donald Trump because they’re angry and they should be angry because nobody’s listening to them and he’s a guy who likes to break things," he continued. "And a lot of those people feel like ‘we want somebody because we’re angry, who’s going to break things.’ But I think that we can also appeal to the better angels in the same people by saying we’re going to create something rather than just breaking things.”

Kennedy finished his time in New Hampshire appealing to the state's voter base, stating, “President Biden has never done well in New Hampshire,” and "I'm here because I am going to participate in this primary in this state. I opposed the DNC's decision to affect New Hampshire from the first in the nation-state status, which is important to our country."

"I'm going to be in this state fighting to win every vote in New Hampshire, Republican, Democratic, and independent," the Democratic candidate promised. "I'm going to pour concrete on the notion that New Hampshire holds the first in the nation primary."

RFK has been rising in the polls against Joe Biden, currently sitting at 20 percent support according to a CNN poll from May 25th. The Democratic nominee has continued to rise against the mentally declining president and seems intent on continuing that trajectory.
