'I Greatly Appreciate Ron's Support:' Donald Trump Announces Him And Governor DeSantis Have Made Amends - 'November 5th Is A Big Day!'

On Monday, presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald J. Trump announced that he and Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) had made amends after a very contentious Republican primary contest in which both men competed for the coveted GOP presidential nomination. However, for the good of America, both men appear to be ready to put their differences aside to make our nation great again and to undo the damage caused by Joe Biden and the radical Democratic Party.

"I am very happy to have the full and enthusiastic support of Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida," the 45th President posted to Truth Social. "We had a great meeting yesterday, arranged by mutual friend Steve Witkoff, at his beautiful Shell Bay Club in Hollywood, Florida." This is great news for a Republican Party that must rally with all its might behind Donald J. Trump and his America First policies -- the stakes are just too high in 2024.

Trump provided even more details in the post, adding, "The conversation mostly concerned how we would work closely together to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN. Also discussed was the future of Florida, which is FANTASTIC! I greatly appreciate Ron's support in taking back our Country from the Worst President in the History of the United States. November 5th is a BIG DAY!!!"

As the DC Enquirer previously reported, rumors of a meeting between Governor DeSantis and President Trump surfaced over the weekend, with the financial war chest of the DeSantis campaign being one of the issues discussed. "Another key aspect of the meeting was the potential access to Gov. DeSantis' extensive donor network, a significant asset he amassed during his gubernatorial campaign in Florida and his presidential campaign nationwide," the DC Enquirer added. This comes after an assortment of legal efforts across the nation have constricted the 45th president's campaign funds, with Team Trump spending great amounts of money to mount a defense. 

Fortunately for America, Trump remains a potent force to win the presidency in 2024, and, as such, he has a great chance to reimplement a truly potent and America First agenda. The Real Clear Politics polling average has him besting Joe Biden in nationwide polling in recent months, despite the fact that Republican presidential candidates can generally afford to underperform in the popular vote while still winning the election - as they did in 2000 and 2016.

As such, it stands to reason that the radical, far-left Democrats would use any means necessary to gain a much-needed political advantage - including indicting their most likely political opponent. But if Republicans sell their agenda and effectively criticize the Biden administration's America Last policies, the sky is the limit for Republicans in 2024 -- and our nation may very well depend on it. DeSantis's support (as well as his earlier endorsement) are key tp making America great again.
