Forty-fifth President Donald J. Trump has shown a remarkable four-point lead against incumbent Democrat President Joe Biden in a very unexpected survey, the left-biased Harvard Caps Harris poll. More interestingly, a majority of Americans have doubts that Biden is even fit to lead the nation.
As reported by Breitbart News, the survey, which polled 2,905 registered U.S. voters from March 22-23, found Trump leading Biden 45-41 and by a larger margin of 10 points leading sitting Vice President Kamala Harris in a potential matchup.

According to the outlet, “If the 2024 election for President were held today and it was between Donald Trump, the Republican, and Joe Biden, the Democrat, who would you vote for?” the poll asked.
The partisan breakdown showed that only 76 percent of Democrats said they would vote for Biden, along with 33% of independents and 11% of ‘Republicans.’ Conversely, Trump commanded 79 percent support from his GOP base, an impressive 42% of independents, and even 14% of Democrats.
FOLLOWING INDICTMENT, PRESIDENT TRUMP DOMINATES THE POLLS WITH MASSIVE LEAD
In the same poll from Harvard Caps Harris, a combined 56% of Republicans and Independents have said that the country is on the wrong track. Shockingly, even 42% of Democrats agreed.
In an interesting turn, when Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) is put head to head against Biden and Harris, he also outperforms them both but not by the same degree. Against Biden, DeSantis won with a 3-pt. margin, against Harris it was an 8 pt. margin.
Most startlingly, across party lines, a majority of Americans, fifty-six percent, “have doubts” about Biden’s fitness for office. Sixty-five percent across party lines have stated “Biden is showing he is too old to be president.”

In a potential primary contest, Trump led the field with a solid 55%, trailed by DeSantis at 20%, a devastating 35-point difference. They were followed by former Vice President Mike Pence at 7%, former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley at 4%, Vivek Ramaswamy at 2% and Sens. Tim Scott of South Carolina and Marco Rubio of Florida tied at 1%.
