On Thursday, Jen Psaki decided to clear any discussion on which party was more openly racist than the other, saying that President Joe Biden is extremely successful because he is a “White man who’s older,” and that aspect will also make him more “comfortable” to a notable portion of Republican voters.
The current MSNBC host made her comments on the Thursday episode of 'The ReidOut,' hosted by Joy Reid. Psaki began her unhinged line of thought by bringing up how she believes Biden to be “misunderestimated” by critics and claiming that the do-nothing president “keeps delivering.”
The host specifically mentioned the recent incident of Biden taking a tumble at the Air Force Academy graduation ceremony. The incident caused many to ask further questions not just about his mental capabilities but also his physical fitness to serve in the Oval Office, as previously reported by the DC Enquirer.
"You know today he tripped over a – I guess there was a sandbag – and Twitter and the right are going crazy," Reid claimed attempting to downplay the embarrassing predicament. She then added that “I trip in my own home,” prompting Psaki to agree.
In a feat of expert journalism, the MSNBC host asked a clearly biased question: “So what do you think it is about Joe Biden? Is he so enraging to the right because he is so normal? What do you think it is about him that drives them nuts?"
After being passed the baton, Psaki hopped onto the derangement dogpile claiming that the GOP has failed for years to attempt to make fear of Biden stick with voters across America. "Well, if you look back, Joy, to 2020, they were trying to figure out how to take him out. They can’t make him extreme. They can’t really make him offensive," the former White House press secretary claimed.
“I mean, one, he’s a White man who’s older, so you know he is comfortable to many in their base," Psaki argued.
Continuing with her ignorant claims, she stated that many Republican politicians have “underestimated him many times,” but that may not be the worst thing for Biden. "That’s not necessarily a disadvantage to Joe Biden,” Psaki stated. “I mean, I worked for him for a year and a half. He’s always been underestimated. He’s got a little bit of a chip on his shoulder because of that. That can serve you well."
"But I think they’re just trying to throw a lot of spaghetti up at the wall to try to take him down and so far they haven’t quite figured it out,” she added. “That’s why when you talk to Republican strategists back in 2020, they would say, ‘We don’t really want it to be Joe Biden ’cause people aren’t freaked out by him.’"
Psaki seems entirely detached from reality from start to finish. From trying to put out concerns over Biden’s declining mental and physical well-being to attempting to contribute his success to racism, she seemed to bring nothing of any intellectual capacity to the discussion.
