'Justice Will Be Served': Vegas Prosecutors Will Charge Teen Drivers Who Murdered Former Police Chief As Adults

On Monday, the Clark County district attorney's office issued a statement revealing that they will be charging the two teens who filmed the murder of 64-year-old Andreas Probst.

"One of the perpetrators, a juvenile, is currently in custody and being held pursuant to charges that have been filed in the juvenile system. Additional charges may be forthcoming. The District Attorney’s Office is seeking certification to adult status of the juvenile perpetrator," the office wrote in a statement.

"I am confident that justice will be served in this matter once this investigation is complete and the appropriate charges have been filed," Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson said.

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, two Las Vegas teens filmed and ran over the former police chief on August 14th near Tenaya Way and Centennial Parkway in Las Vegas. Police responded to the crash at around 6 p.m. and quickly rushed Probst to the hospital, however, he was pronounced dead not soon after.

Authorities were able to find the teens responsible for the heinous act and took them into custody following the murder. Footage of the two murdering Probst went viral on social media as the duo laughed and looked back at the damage they had caused before speeding off.

THE VIDEO IS DISTURBING, WATCH WITH CAUTION

Fox News host Greg Gutfield shared the video on X/Twitter, writing, “Remember how repulsed we were by those ISIS videos? how is this any different? a public execution. filmed. we need new leadership that sees that the new threat of terror is within, and put an end to this reign of evil."

“in life there are transformative experiences. I just watched a man get murdered. if this does not change you forever, then you are dead inside. wake up America, we've become the thing of dystopian sci fi that makes Death Race 2000 and Clockwork Orange look like romantic comedies,” Gutfield tweeted.

It is good to see that these criminals are going to be held responsible and be punished severely for this heinous crime. Hopefully, the district attorney will make these teens an example to anyone who may wish to harm innocent Americans just going about their day.
