Kari Lake At Mar-a-Lago Spurs VP, Senate Speculation As New Book Is Revealed

Republican Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake has kept the fight for election security going in Arizona courts, however, a recent visit to 45th President Donald J. Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home and some interesting comments during an interview about her upcoming book is spurring speculation about Lake’s political future.

According to reporting from The Daily Mail, Lake plans to address a border crisis fundraiser on Tuesday and is staying at the President’s resort home in the meanwhile.

In a podcast appearance with Kimberly Guilfoyle reported by The Mail, Lake revealed that a new book authored by the former news anchor is set to be published within the coming months. Guilfoyle asked whether a run for Senate or even the vice presidency could be in Lake’s future.

BREAKING: KARI LAKE REVEALS ‘THE SMOKING GUN’ IN ARIZONA ELECTION LAWSUIT

Despite polls showing she could dominate the potential GOP primary field for Senate, should she choose to run, Lake has downplayed a potential run pending the results of her legal challenges to the 2022 gubernatorial election.

She said on Monday, “Once it runs through the courts then I’ll make my next move and hopefully my next move is moving into the governor’s office.”

However, she left the door open,

“But if for some reason it’s so far gone, then I certainly will look at the Senate race.”

Lake followed jokingly observing that the only person polling better than her in Arizona is Trump himself. She said, “I just saw some polling today that shows that… the only person who can win who could beat me in the US Senate seat in Arizona would be President Trump. And we know he’s running for president.”

As reported by The Hill, a poll released by J.L. Partners showed Lake having 38 percent support as of Monday with former Arizona gubernatorial primary opponent Karrin Taylor Robson trailing at a distant 10 percent.
