'Mr. Penny Is A Hero': Kid Rock Makes HUGE Donation To Marine Daniel Penny's Defense Fund

Earlier this week, legendary musician Kid Rock donated $5,000 to the defense fund of United States Marine veteran Daniel Penny.

“Mr. Penny is a hero. Alvin Bragg is a POS. Kid Rock,” Kid Rock wrote in his donation message.

Rock is referencing radical liberal Soros-funded Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. Bragg, who previously indicted 45th President and leading Republican presidential contender Donald J. Trump, decided to charge Penny with second-degree manslaughter after the May 1st death of Jordan Neely on a New York subway. Neely, a mentally ill homeless man, was accused of "making threats and scaring people" on the subway. He died after being put in a chokehold by Penny.

"Several witnesses observed Mr. Neely making threats and scaring passengers," said Assistant District Attorney Joshua Steinglass, as previously reported by Fox News Digital. "The defendant approached Mr. Neely from behind and placed him in a chokehold, taking him down to the ground."

This has led several high-profile celebrities to donate to Penny's legal defense fund. Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy and podcaster Tim Pool donated $10,000 and $20,000, to the fund, respectively, which is being hosted on the Christian crowdfunding site 'GiveSendGo'.

The site describes the fund by saying, "Daniel Penny is, a twenty-four-year-old college student and decorated Marine veteran, facing a criminal investigation stemming from him protecting individuals on a NYC subway train from an assailant who later died. Funds are being raised to pay Mr. Penny’s legal fees incurred from any criminal charges filed and any future civil lawsuits that may arise, as well as expenses related to his defense."

Following the donation, Pool tweeted, "I just donated $20,000 to Daniel Penny's Defense fund Penny is the Subway Good Samaritan and we are lucky to have brave souls like him who are willing to do the right thing."

Ramaswamy also weighed in, tweeting,"I agree with this. Just donated. More of us should. We must restore the rule of law in America."

These are significant developments in a trial that is sure to generate a national conversation.
