WATCH: Marjorie Taylor Greene Takes Aim At 'Anti-Semite, Pro-Hamas' Squad Democrat With BOLD Action

On Thursday, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) took to the House floor to introduce a resolution to censure radical 'Squad' Democrat Rep. Rashida Tlaib (R-MI) after the lawmaker repeatedly spread Hamas propaganda about air strikes in Gaza, criticized Israel as an apartheid state and was instrumental in leading a demonstration in the Cannon House Office Building last week.

According to Axios, the resolution states that Tlaib led "an insurrection at the United States Capitol Complex" given that she spoke to protesters who then proceeded to occupy the Cannon building and disrupt various House members and their staff.

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, hundreds of demonstrators occupied the Cannon building, which eventually resulted in hundreds of arrests by Capitol Police. The group of demonstrators, led by Jewish Voice For Peace, held up signs calling for a ceasefire in the Israel-Gaza conflict.

Prior to the occupation of the House office building, Tlaib gave a teary speech to demonstrators where she continued to insist that the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) bombed the al-Ahli hospital in Gaza, a Hamas propaganda story that has been debunked by various intelligence agencies and the media.

Tlaib has also refused to delete her initial post, which has been community noted by X/Twitter, which condemned Israel for the bombing that was, in reality, the result of a Palestinian Islamic Jihad rocket misfiring and hitting the parking lot. Rather than 500 deaths, as was initially reported by the mainstream media, the rocket only resulted in, at most, casualties in the double digits.

"Rashida Tlaib is an anti-Semite, pro-Hamas, and led an insurrection into the Capitol complex," Greene wrote on X/Twitter. "Every member of Congress will be on record. Including every Democrat. Will they condemn Rashida Tlaib's hatred or support her sympathy for terrorists?"

Tlaib, who voted against a resolution to condemn Hamas and support Israel on Wednesday, has yet to respond to Greene's resolution. However, fellow 'Squad' member Rep. Cori Bush (R-MO) deemed the move by the Georgia Republican to be "racist."

"I denounce any action to censure [Tlaib], the only Palestinian-American in Congress," the Missouri Democrat said. "These Islamophobic & racist efforts are an attempt to discredit her perspective & scare those courageously speaking up for Palestinian human rights. Solidarity with my sister-in-service."

While newly-elected Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) has yet to comment on Greene's effort to censure Tlaib, Minority Leader Hakeem Jefferies (D-NY) said in a press conference on Thursday that if the GOP were to censure Tlaib, then he would move to censure Greene.

"I think that if the House decides they want to go down this road in terms of censure, that should probably be right at the top of the list," Jefferies said.

Tlaib's recent comments in support of Hamas and her insistence to double down on terrorist propaganda are evidence enough to deserve a censure.
