Rick Scott Predicts ‘Bloodbath For Democrats’ When Midterms Hit In November

Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) slammed President Joe Biden and the left’s economic agenda during an appearance on “Fox News Sunday,” this week, claiming the midterms will be a “bloodbath” for Democrats this Fall.

“We’ve got great candidates, it’s going to be a great year. It’s gonna raise our money and run our races.” Scott began. “But the Biden Agenda’s horrible. This inflation… People getting their cars repossessed, people have to go to food banks. I mean this — gas prices, food prices. The American public are frustrated.”

“This is hurting so many people in my state,” the Florida Republican added. “So I think this is going to be a bloodbath for the Democrats this year.”

Scott also referenced an appearance by Biden’s Economic Advisor Jared Bernstein’s on the same program earlier that day, where he blamed Biden’s failed inflation policies on the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

When asked what Republicans will do to combat this economic crisis if they retake the House and Senate in November, Scott provided a clear and articulate vision for America’s potential future under GOP leadership.

“We have to balance the budget. This is caused by reckless spending,” he replied. “Every proposal the Democrats have is ‘spend your money. Spend more money.’ We’ve got to reduce taxes, reduce fees, reduce, reduce the size of Government. We’ve got to become energy independent. Don’t go over to Saudi Arabia and beg… them for fuel. Go to Texas and ask them to give more fuel. Fix the supply chain.”

“The Biden Administration is a bunch of do-nothing people, that all they do is blame,” Scott cotinued.
Balance the budget. Start with that. That’s the simplest thing we have to do. We’ve got to figure out how to balance our budget. And we can do it and reduce the cost of Government. It’s way too high.”

Small government and a free market are the keys to liberty. That message helped the GOP win big in 2010, 2014, and 2016 — even allowing them to partly retain Congressional control in 2018.

Nearly twelve years later, following the 2010 races, a similar message could produce yet another red wave. The likes of which we’ve never seen before.
