WATCH: MLB Star Gives In, Apologizes After Sharing Video Promoting Bud Light And Target Boycotts

On Tuesday, Toronto Blue Jays reliever Anthony Bass apologized after sharing a video to his Instagram story that advocated for boycotting Target and Bud Light.

"On Tuesday, Bass reposted a video to his Instagram Story that appeared to be anti-LGBTQ, and discussed “the biblical reason Christians should boycott Target” and Bud Light," the New York Post previously reported. “Here’s the reason biblically why I believe Christians have gotta be boycotting Target, Bud Light, and any other corporation that’s pushing the things they’re pushing,” the video shared to Bass’ Instagram story said.

Nonetheless, rather than double down on this post, Bass chose to apologize to members of the 'Pride' community -- vowing to use Blue Jays' resources to 'better educate' himself.

"I’ll make this quick. I recognize yesterday that I made a post that was hurtful to the Pride community, which includes friends of mine and close family members of mine, and I am truly sorry for that. I just spoke with my teammates and shared with them my actions yesterday. I apologized to them and, as of right now, I am using the Blue Jays’ resources to better educate myself to make better decisions moving forward. The ballpark is for everybody. We include all fans at the ballpark, and we want to welcome everybody. That’s all I have to say," Bass told reporters.

As Fox News Digital previously reported, the Blue Jays released a statement of their own prior to the apology -- highlighting their commitment to 'Pride.'

"The Blue Jays bring millions of fans together across Canada and are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming experience for all,\.... the Blue Jays are proud to celebrate LGBTQ2S+ Pride Month, including a special fourth annual Pride Weekend at the ballpark June 9 and 10, and demonstrations of allyship all month long around the ballpark." the statement read.

We have no idea what the Blue Jays' 'resources' consist of, especially regarding the reeducation of their players. Nonetheless. precedent dictates these materials will be nothing more than a catechism for the Church of the woke.

Woke ideology is designed to subvert the religion of Jesus, His Law, and His Gospel. It offers its own unique eschatology and has its own notion of 'original sin.' No Christian should ever give an inch to the woke left, for a religion without Christ, without forgiveness, without sin, and absent individual responsibility is a truly depraved one, worthy of no respect.
