'What Impeccable Timing!': College Set To Bring Back Covid Mandates As Biden Admin Pushes Vaccines Ahead Of 2024

On Sunday, Morris Brown College, a historically black liberal arts university based in Atlanta, announced that it would reinstate its COVID-19 policies for the coming two weeks -- reminiscent of the 2020 push to 'flatten the curve.'

"Effective immediately, Morris Brown College has reinstated its COVID-19 mask mandate due to reports of positive cases among students in the Atlanta University Center," Morris Brown College posted to its Facebook page.

The historically black university then listed the following procedures, which would apply to the 14 days immediately after the press release.

"1. Mask Wearing: All students and employees are required to wear face masks (staff may remove in their offices while alone).
2. Physical Distancing: Students must maintain physical distancing.
3. Large Gatherings: Institutional guidelines for gathering sizes must be followed. There will be no parties or large student events on campus for the next two weeks.
4. Isolation and Quarantine: Students must adhere to institutional policies and CDC guidelines for isolation and quarantine.
5. Contact Tracing: Compliance with college-initiated contact tracing efforts is expected.
6. Symptom Monitoring: Students and employees are obligated to undergo temperature checks upon campus arrival.
7. Regular Hand Washing/Sanitization: Frequent hand washing is expected from all students and employees."

This push comes after the Biden administration renewed efforts to push for COVID-19 vaccinations after the Center For Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported an increase in infections.

"COVlD-19 mandates are coming back just in time for the 2024 election cycle as early signs are hinting towards what's to come," Collin Rugg wrote about the development. "What impeccable timing!"

"President Biden's administration is preparing another program to encourage Americans to get booster shots for COVID-19 in the coming months," Fox News Digital reports. "The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has reported an increase in COVID-19 infections across the U.S., though it remains far below levels seen during the pandemic. The Biden administration plans to urge Americans to get booster shots this fall, an administration official told FOX Business' Edward Lawrence. 'We will be encouraging all Americans to get those boosters in addition to flu shots and RSV shots,' the official said."

With this push in mind, we hope and pray that the administration will step away from the partisanship and radicalism it so openly embraced during the height of the pandemic. After all, such radicalism helped no one. Indeed, it severed the connection between the citizenry and the government that is necessary for a thriving and vibrant republic. While Trump embraced policies that worked for the people -- he didn't demonize large segments of the population -- Biden and his cronies have shied away from working for the American people.
