Nashville Authorities Reveal When Shooter’s Manifesto Will Be Released

The manifesto of the Nashville Covenant School shooter Audrey Hale will be released to the public after the FBI’s team of profilers has had an opportunity to analyze the document according to a report from The New York Post citing Nashville City Council member Robert Swope.

The Post reported that the FBI Behavioral Analysis Unit is working “in tandem with” the Metro Nashville Police Department on what Swope referred to as “a very in-depth analysis of certain aspects of the shooter’s life.”

He explained,

“The manifesto is going to be released. It’s just a matter of when. There are some incredibly brilliant psychological minds and psychological analysts combing through her entire life.”

According to the outlet, Swope sits on the city’s Public Safety, Beer, and Regulated Beverages Committee. Swope told reporters that Hale had “looked at” two other potential targets, both public schools but decided that “the security was too great to do what she wanted to do.”

“So she chose a private Christian school, for, probably the reason is that the security is a whole lot less,” he explained.

According to The Independent, he noted, “We strongly believe there was going to be some other targets, including maybe family members, and one of the malls here in Nashville. And that just did not happen.”

On Wednesday, MNPD Chief John Drake told CNN, “As of right now, we don’t have any indication there was any problems at the school or at home,” adding, “We can’t confirm any type of problems at this time.”

NEW DETAILS EMERGE ABOUT NASHVILLE SHOOTER – IT WAS ‘CALCULATED AND PLANNED’
Speaking to reporters from The New York Post on his way to a Wednesday night vigil Swope noted that he and others in the Nashville City government are investigating different methods to “harden our schools from ballistics,” he even suggested, “active AI systems that can recognize guns at a hundred yards outside under any circumstances.”

The councilman also lauded the Metro Nashville Police and other first responders for their actions that saved numerous lives but lamented the loss to the community.

“I’m beyond heartbroken. That this kind of evil actually exists in this world, it is amazing to me,” Swope said. “I don’t know how our community gets past this.”

Activist organization Gays Against Grooming tweeted that they have filed an open records request for the manifesto to be released.

However as reported by Human Events, an MNPD spokesman told reporters there are no plans to release the manifesto while the investigation is ongoing saying, “We will not be releasing the manifesto during an open investigation.”
