NYPD Apprehends Illegal Immigrant Suspected Of Raping 13-Year-Old Girl In Broad Daylight

An Ecuadorian migrant suspected of raping a 13-year-old girl was arrested on Tuesday in New York City after locals banded together to identify the suspect and report him to the police. The incident is the latest instance of an illegal migrant committing a heinous crime against an American citizen as the country's southern border remains unsecured.

The suspect, 25-year-old Christian Geovanny Inga-Landi, was identified by police nearly a week after the man held the girl and a 13-year-old boy at knifepoint at Kissena Park in the middle of the day. The authorities have charged Inga-Landi with rape, kidnapping, and sexual abuse, according to The New York Post. The NYPD put out a sketch, photos, and videos of the suspect on Monday, which led to a plethora of tips from Queens residents.

"We had tips coming in actually naming the perpetrator, so they knew who he was," NYPD's Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny explained during a press conference. "One of the tips we actually received was from a landlord who stated the male had come to his building about two weeks previous trying to rent the room."

The 25-year-old criminal entered the country illegally in 2021 through Eagle Pass, Texas. The man was arrested by Border Patrol officials but was released into the country, which allowed him to travel to the Empire State. The incident is yet another example of violent crime being committed by illegal migrants who were released into the country by the Biden administration.

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, Trump highlighted the recent arrest of an El Salvadorian fugitive, Victor Martinez-Hernandez, who allegedly murdered and raped Rachel Morin, a 23-year-old Maryland mother, in August when she went for a walk on a nature trail about 20 miles outside of Baltimore. Morin's alleged killer, who was apprehended by authorities in Tulsa, Oklahoma, over the weekend, crossed the border illegally in February 2023.

Another high-profile incident occurred earlier this year in Georgia when 26-year-old Jose Antonio Ibarra, an immigrant from Venezuela, allegedly murdered college student Laken Riley. Authorities charged Ibarra with malice murder, felony murder, aggravated battery, aggravated assault, false imprisonment, kidnapping, hindering a 911 call, and concealing the death of another, as previously reported by the DC Enquirer. Authorities in New York previously had custody of Ibarra for endangering a minor. Still, the NYPD released him onto the streets before Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) could issue a detainer.

President Joe Biden's open border policies are having deadly consequences on law-abiding Americans daily. Millions of migrants have been allowed to enter the country under the president's watch, and it is no wonder that some of them have turned to violent crime after they exploited the American immigration system and violated America's sovereignty. Voters should remember the toll of unchecked illegal immigration in November and vote for the only candidate willing to fix it, Donald Trump.

Why do you call him an illegal 'immigrant'? The statutory name is illegal ALIEN, the name that all websites should use. Saying 'immigrant' is just caving to Democrats who can't bring themselves to use the statutory name because they believe it is offensive. Nonsense, illegal is the correct term.
