'People Are Sick Of It': Alabama Senator SLAMS The 'Two-Tiered' Justice System, Prosecuting Trump 'For What He Was Able To Accomplish On The America First Agenda'

On Tuesday, Alabama Senator Katie Britt (R-AL) slammed the justice system for being 'two-tiered' following the latest indictment of leading presidential contender and 45th President Donald J. Trump, this time by radical leftist Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis (D). 

“People are sick of it. American people are sick of seeing we have a two-tiered justice system in this country. And we’ve gotten to the point where America is just done. We’re done with the way Biden is handling things. We are done with the way Merrick Garland is handling things," Britt told Mobile, Alabama's FM Talk 106.5, as previously reported by Breitbart News. "People want this country to stand for and be a nation that we know and love. That’s just not what we’re seeing with this. If you see it — let’s just be clear: They are prosecuting Trump because of where he stands on issues for what he was able to accomplish on the America First agenda, the movement, hard-working Americans who form our country’s silent majority want to be heard.”

As the DC Enquirer previously reported, "Trump, along with 18 other allies, was indicted for their actions following the 2020 election. Trump specifically saw a number of charges including 'Violation Of The Georgia Rico (Racketeer Influenced And Corrupt Organizations) Act,' 'Solicitation Of Violation Of Oath By Public Officer,' 'Conspiracy To Commit False Statements and Writings' and 'Conspiracy To Commit Forgery in the First Degree,' as well as a number of other charges."

She continued, saying, "I think America is just sick of President Biden going after political adversaries when that very same Justice Department is turning a blind eye to the acts of the Biden family and Hunter Biden, and it’s sickening."

These remarks are absolutely correct. The American people deserve a justice system they can trust, and if the current administration is expending all their time and energy going after the 45th president and leading Republican presidential contender, they can see that something is up. We, the people, demand our elected officials take action to defend what is just and right. 

For context, Trump endorsed Britt in her 2022 Alabama Senate win, writing, “Katie is an Incredible Fighter for the people of Alabama. As President and CEO of Alabama’s Business Council, Katie has been working hard to Grow Alabama’s Economy, Create Jobs, and Restore the Great American Dream. She has the Total Support and Endorsement of Chairman Jimmy Parnell and the Alabama Farmers Federation.”
