On Sunday, USA Today/Suffolk University released a poll showing presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump with an impressive approval rating for his performance in office, one that absolutely clears the low bar set by Joe Biden in the same poll. This comes after millions of Americans have rallied around Trump's 'MAGA' agenda as the solution to many of their most pressing problems; we, the people, need answers, and Trump is the only candidate offering solutions that work for our nation.
The poll covers the period from June 28 through June 30 -- a notable period given that it reflects consensus following the CNN presidential debate. The survey shows Donald Trump with an impressive 51 percent approval rating for his performance as the 45th president of the United States, an office he held down admirably from 2017 to January 2021. The same poll showed President Biden with an abysmal 41 percent approval rating for his performance as president -- a truly baffling number, given that it demonstrates that 41 percent of Americans still approve of his disastrous presidential agenda.
Moreover, as Fox News Digital reports, "Regarding two of the top issues of the 2024 campaign, the economy and immigration, more registered voters said they believed Trump would do a better job than Biden. The poll found 53% of registered voters trust Trump to handle immigration compared to 40% who said the same for Biden." These numbers are not surprising; after all, Americans can trust their eyes, and effectively, nothing is going right under Joe Biden. America needs change, and Donald Trump could be just the disruptor we need to accomplish greatness in the years ahead.
Fortunately for these patriots, Donald J. Trump remains a potent force to win the presidency in 2024, and, as such, he has a great chance to reimplement a truly potent America First agenda that should make our nation proud. The Real Clear Politics polling average has him besting Joe Biden in nationwide polling in recent months, despite the fact that Republican presidential candidates can generally afford to underperform in the popular vote while still winning the election - as they did in 2000 and 2016. Trump has gained an even more impressive lead, given his utterly dominant performance in the CNN presidential debate -- a performance that contrasted an effective leader in President Trump with his ineffective and, indeed, incompetent successor.
As such, it stands to reason that the radical, far-left Democrats would use any means necessary to gain a much-needed political advantage - including indicting their most likely political opponent. But if Republicans sell their agenda and effectively criticize the Biden administration's America Last policies, the sky is the limit for Republicans in 2024 -- and our nation may very well depend on it. That means rallying around an agenda that is widely popular with Americans -- an agenda that stands up for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all.
