President Biden Plans Week-Long Vacation As Death Toll Rises From Devastating Hawaii Wildfire

After giving a disgraceful “no comment” response to the massive wildfire that destroyed the resort town of Lahaina, Hawaii in his vacation home in Rehoboth, Delaware, President Joe Biden is planning to take a week-long vacation to Lake Tahoe, Nevada starting this coming Friday. 

As previously covered by the DC Enquirer, many are outraged after a reporter asked if Biden had anything to say on the massive wildfire in Maui that has taken the lives of many, giving “no comment.” Many noted the massive hypocrisy between sending billions of dollars in aid to Ukraine and not providing any support to American citizens that need it the most. 

Now, after a strenuous weekend relaxing at his vacation home, the mentally aging president will be taking another week-long vacation to Lake Tahoe. Biden has been infamous during his time in office for taking copious vacation days, with CBS reporting that he has so far taken 360 vacation days or 40 percent of his time in office. His vacation rate has outpaced nearly every president including Donald Trump, who spent 381 total vacation days across his four years as president. 

Before leaving for his beach home this past weekend, Biden declared a major disaster for Hawaii and promised that federal aid would be coming to ensure “anyone who’s lost a loved one, or whose home has been damaged or destroyed, is going to get help immediately.” 

The response has been anything but satisfactory. The sort of emergency going on in Hawaii is one that would necessitate immediate action from any with enough power to get it done. Instead, the most powerful man in America tans on a beach over the weekend while countless Hawaiian citizens lose their loved ones and homes. 

Disgraceful does not begin to describe the actions and comments of President Biden. He was well aware that there were major issues going on in Hawaii over the weekend considering the declaration he made so for him to be so brazenly ignorant and to respond with “no comment” before going to another vacation is disgusting. 

This latest incident goes to show just how lacking Biden is when it comes to qualifications for the presidency. He doesn’t have the mental aptitude, the decorum, the concern, or frankly anything that would qualify him for the most important position in the world.
