In a supremely tight contest, the Trump-backed Kelly Tshibaka is running against notorious RINO and incumbent Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) to represent Alaska in the US Senate. Alaska is a very Pro-Trump and Pro-America state, which bodes well for Tshibaka. Indeed, as of recently, Tshibaka is within striking distance of taking Murkowski’s spot in the US Senate — a spot Murkowski has occupied since 2002.
As the DC Enquirer reports:
“Recent polling put out by Cygnal could spell bad news for Murkowski — and it takes into account Alaska’s ranked-choice voting system, a system where voters rank candidates by preference on their ballot.
As Breitbart reports: ‘Tshibaka leads Murkowski on the first ballot by 7.9 points and on the second by 9.3 points. On the third ballot, the poll shows Murkowski leading Tshibaka by 0.2 percent, a statistical tie.'”
But in order to grasp even more momentum, it was imperative that Tshibaka gain even more endorsements — even if the coveted Trump endorsement was more than potent. She has bipartisan support from former Alaska Senate Candidate and Democrat Edward Blatchford, as the DC Enquirer reports. And now, she has the support of a major Pro-Life group — the Susan B. Anthony (SBA) Pro-Life America’s Candidate Fund. According to their website, the SBA’s mission is to “end abortion by electing national leaders and advocating for laws that save lives, with a special calling to promote pro-life women leaders.”
As such, the SBA website gives Tshibaka a ringing endorsement:
NEW POLL SHOWS PRO-TRUMP SENATOR LEADING ANTI-TRUMP CHALLENGER BY 11 POINTS
“Kelly Tshibaka is a trailblazer whose pro-life, pro-woman leadership will be a welcome addition to the U.S. Senate. We are proud to endorse her. Pro-abortion Democrats ‘can’t wait’ to destroy the Senate filibuster to impose abortion on demand until birth nationwide, paid for by taxpayers – a radical agenda the overwhelming majority of Americans reject. It’s more critical than ever that Alaskans have strong leaders fighting for their values.” The endorsement reads.
“As a mom of five and the first college graduate from a working-class family, Kelly knows how important it is to protect unborn children and stand with mothers, including by supporting pregnancy centers that serve countless families in communities nationwide. Kelly will bring compassion and common sense to Washington and we strongly encourage Alaskans to support her on November 8.”
This could give Tshibaka the final push she needs to defeat Lisa Murkowski, whose abortion radicalism is out of step with the Republican Party. Responding to the overturn of Roe v. Wade, Murkowski said the following:
“Today the Supreme Court went against 50 years of precedent in choosing to overturn Roe v. Wade. The rights under Roe that many women have relied on for decades—most notably a woman’s right to choose—are now gone or threatened in many states.”
Alaska does not need a radical pro-abortion voice in the Senate. They need a voice who is willing to stand up for life. And it looks as though Tshibaka is just such a voice.
