REED COOPER: Israel-Gaza War Wouldn’t Have Happened Under Trump

On Saturday morning, Hamas terrorist fighters launched a surprise attack and crossed the border into Israel after firing anywhere from 2,500 to 5,000 rockets from the Gaza Strip leading Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to declare a state of war.

So far, 545 are injured and 22 Israelis have tragically died. Hamas has kidnapped Israeli soldiers and is currently holding 33 prisoners of war, including civilians.

“Our enemy will pay a price the type of which it has never known. We are in a war and we will win it,” Netanyahu said in a video.

One thing is for sure - this would not have happened under President Donald John Trump.

Under President Joe Biden’s “leadership”, he has emboldened Islamic terrorists.

In September, Biden agreed to release over $6 billion in frozen assets to Iran in exchange for prisoners.

Three weeks later, Hamas terrorists, backed by Iran, declared war on Israel and are aiming to kill as many Israeli citizens as they can.

Trump predicted this would happen. On September 11, Trump wrote in a post on his top-rated social media platform, “Can you believe that Crooked Joe Biden is giving $6 Billion to the terrorist regime in Iran?”

“That money be used for terrorism all over the Middle East, and, indeed, the World. This incompetent FOOL is absolutely destroying America. He had the audacity to announce this terrible deal today, September 11th,” Trump added.

“To pay for hostages will lead to kidnapping, ransom, and blackmail against Americans across the globe. I freed many dozens of our people from various unfriendly countries and never paid a dime,” Trump wrote.

Just under three years ago, on October 23, 2020, President Trump managed to broker a historic peace agreement between Israel and Sudan. In addition, President Trump's Abraham Accords paved the way for a more peaceful Middle East.

“They are choosing a future in which Arabs and Israelis, Muslims, Jews, and Christians can live together, pray together, and dream together, side by side, in harmony, community, and peace,” Trump famously said of the agreement.

Trump succeeded in his efforts to have Israel and Sudan come together to make peace and to normalize their relations.

As president, Trump also reclaimed 100 percent of the ISIS caliphate territory in Syria and even successfully authorized the killing of terrorist Iranian General Qassem Soleimani.

"We just took over you know you kept hearing it was 90%, 92%, the caliphate in Syria, now it’s 100%, we just took over 100% caliphate, that means the area of the land we just have 100% so that’s good,” Trump said in 2019.
