Senator Rand Paul DESTROYS The Senate Border Bill - 'Absolutely Nothing Conservative About This Deal'

On Sunday, Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) slammed the recent Senate' border bill' for the farce it truly is -- yet another piece of legislation that does nothing to close our southern border. We, the people of America, will not settle for half-measures regarding our border security. Americans demand a southern border they can trust, and this means fighting against the Biden administration every step of the way. However, the bill's problems do not stop at its less-than-optimal border security reforms. The bill is not fiscally conservative; it hands over more money to foreign nations when it is past time to put our nation and its interests first. While 45th President Donald J. Trump and his MAGA Republican base understand the value of America First politics, it is high time that Joe Biden and the radical left wise up to the value of our taxpayer dollars.

"Amazing. This predictable revelation is only a week old, and yet the Swamp's 'new border security' bill gives Ukraine $60 billion more….from the squandering of your money to the fake border reforms, it's safe to declare this bill as anti-American. I'm a NO," Paul posted to Twitter, linking an Associated Press article that alleged $40 million in Ukraine funding was stolen by corrupt Ukranian officials, per Ukraine's own reporting. 

"Employees from a Ukrainian arms firm conspired with defense ministry officials to embezzle almost $40 million earmarked to buy 100,000 mortar shells for the war with Russia," the AP reported.

As such, Senator Rand Paul continued, adding in a subsequent post, "Democrats proudly proclaim new border law 'never closes' the border and, of course, the entire $115 billion will be borrowed. Nothing, absolutely nothing, conservative about this deal." In another post, Paul laid out his reasons for opposing the bill in great detail, arguing that the foreign funding, half-baked border security provisions, open border agenda, and the untracked humanitarian aid of the bill made it unwise for any conservative patriot to support this piece of radical left legislation.

Fortunately for America, President Trump is likewise a fierce defender of border security, writing in a Truth Social post, "Only a fool, or a Radical Left Democrat, would vote for this horrendous Border Bill, which only gives Shutdown Authority after 5000 Encounters a day, when we already have the right to CLOSE THE BORDER NOW, which must be done. This bill is a great gift to the Democrats, and a Death Wish for The Republican Party." Trump is exactly right, and this is why Republicans must act decisively in 2024 to fight for the integrity of our Southern Border."
