Senator Tim Scott Says 'Hades No' To Senate Border Deal - 'We Should Be Fixing And Securing Our Southern Border'

On Monday, South Carolina Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) exclusively told Fox News Digital that he would not support the radical Senate 'border bill' -- which does nothing to close our compromised southern border. We, the people of America, will not settle for half-measures regarding our border security. Americans demand a southern border they can trust, and this means fighting against the radicals in the Biden administration every step of the way. 

"I'm a Hades no," Scott told Fox News Digital when asked if he supports the latest Senate border legislation. "I think it's such a lie to think that Joe Biden needs Congress to act in order for him to secure the border." This line of thinking is exactly right -- if Biden cared about securing our border, he would have taken action ages ago. However, Biden and his cronies have enabled the constant influx of illegal migrants every step of the way -- and that is why they haven't earned the cooperation of MAGA patriots all across our nation.

Scott continued, adding, "We're going to spend $60 billion for Ukraine, and we already need accountability in the resources that we're spending ... What brought us to this point, the crisis in Israel, $14 or so billion. We are making a critical mistake in using our ally Israel's crisis to put more money into Ukraine and less real attention on the border... I'm thankful that we are finally having a conversation about the border, but it's the wrong one. It should be in a silo. We should be fixing and securing our southern border, and the president of the United States can do that right now."

The South Carolina senator concluded that the Biden administration "undid what [former President Donald] Trump secures for us. Joe Biden did it by himself. He literally shredded a secure border with his actions as president." Fortunately for Scott and MAGA patriots all across our nation, President Trump is still the fierce defender of border security he was in his first term, writing in a Truth Social post, "Only a fool, or a Radical Left Democrat, would vote for this horrendous Border Bill, which only gives Shutdown Authority after 5000 Encounters a day, when we already have the right to CLOSE THE BORDER NOW, which must be done."

"This bill is a great gift to the Democrats, and a Death Wish for The Republican Party," Trump wrote. He is exactly right, and this is why Republicans must act decisively in 2024 to fight for the integrity of our southern border.
