On Tuesday, the front-runner candidate for Texas’ 26th Congressional District, Brandon Gill, took to X, formerly Twitter, and reacted to the impeachment of Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas by calling for Mayorkas to be in jail. “Don’t stop there! Mayorkas shouldn’t just be impeached. He should be in jail,” Gill wrote. In a huge victory for Gill endorser Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), earlier on Tuesday, Republicans in the House of Representatives successfully managed to impeach Mayorkas in a historic 214-213 vote - the first time since 1876 that a cabinet secretary has been impeached.
The 22 articles of impeachment against Mayorkas accuse him of failing to comply with federal law and court rulings concerning migrant detention centers and for causing a surge in illegal border crossings under Joe Biden’s administration. Mayorkas has “demonstrated he will remain a threat to national and border security" and "acted in a manner grossly incompatible with his duties and the rule of law," the impeachment measure reads. The articles now head to the Senate. Gill has been endorsed by 45th President Donald Trump, Texas Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), The House Freedom Caucus, Club for Growth, Congressman Troy Nehls (R-TX), Congressman Ronny Jackson (R-TX), Congressman Lance Gooden (R-TX), Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), Congresswoman Lauren Boebert (R-CO), Fox News contributor Leo Terrell, and many, many more.
On the first day of Gill's campaign, he wrote, "Today is the first day of my campaign for US Congress. I want it to be known from day one that I wholeheartedly and without reservation endorse Donald J. Trump for President in 2024!" "My favorite candidate for President is the one that most terrifies the #PoliceState. The one they are trying to lock up, silence, or worse… Trump is our greatest defense against the #PoliceState. And they know it," Gill wrote in another post.
“It is my great honor to ENDORSE Brandon Gill for U.S. Congress in Texas-26. He is the clear ‘America First’ candidate and is as loyal and tough as they come. He’s a Cowboy, Businessman, Husband, and Father, but also, a True Patriot,” Trump wrote. “Brandon is Strong in SECURING OUR BORDER, STOPPING CRIME, FIGHTING INFLATION, & PROTECTING OUR SECOND AMENDMENT. He also comes with the love and respect of his father-in-law, a true warrior, Dinesh D’Souza. Brandon will not let you down. Onward to VICTORY,” Trump wrote in his endorsement of the young Texan.

There's really two bigger issues here. 1) Why was his impeachment vote not unanimous or close to it? It's a fact that he's completely ignoring his job of keeping the border secure just like he did in Cali. I suggest the entire government is corrupt EXCEPT a few people. 2) It's DEAD in the senate because Americans are not represented by the "PARTY" that calls themselves Democrats. They vote PARTY first like the good Marxist/Socialists that they are and they hate ALL of us. Not to mention the chameleon Democrats that sit in Republican chairs. It's pathetic that I bust my ass all day, pay my taxes and yet NONE of those taxes are aimed back at my concerns. I'm the biggest threat to Democracy after all being White, MAGA and Christian. Even airlines say put your mask on first, but we like sending our treasury to INVADERS and other countries while our infrastructure crumbles. WHY am I paying Fed taxes again?
