Texas Judge Hands Trump & America A Major Victory, Orders Biden To Build Border Wall

In a major victory for 45th President Donald Trump and the American people, Federal Judge Drew Tipton issued a preliminary injunction ordering President Joe Biden's administration to continue building a border wall along the United States/Mexico border. The order also put an end to Biden's plan of diverting funds away from border wall construction. On Biden's first day in office, he ended all construction of a border wall despite Congress approving billions in funds to build a border wall along the southern border in 2019. Texas and Missouri both sued Biden for preventing them from using border wall funds to build the wall.

Judge Tipton's order read, "The Government and all its respective officers, agents, servants, employees, attorneys, and other persons who are in active concert or participation with them are hereby ENJOINED and RESTRAINED from implementing the July 2022 Amended Plan to the extent that its obligations are not authorized under Subsection 209(a)(1) and Section 210 as laid out in this Order."

"The Government is prohibited from obligating funds under Subsection 209(a)(1)—and corresponding funds under Section 210—toward mitigation and remediation efforts, repair of existing barrier, so-called system attribute installation at existing sites, or other similar purposes. Those types of expenses may be authorized under Subsections (a)(2) through (a)(5) where appropriate, however, Subsection (a)(1) permits only the construction of physical barriers, such as additional walls, fencing, buoys, etc," Tipton added.

"This preliminary injunction shall remain in effect pending a final resolution of the merits of this case or until a further Order from this Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit or the United States Supreme Court," he said. Immigration Reform Law Institue's Dale Wilcox reacted to the news, saying, "We are pleased the court checked the administration's lawlessness here, and ordered it to build the wall the law says must be built." On Monday, 45th President Donald Trump took to his top-rated social media platform, Truth Social, and wrote, "My first acts as your next President will be to Close the Border, DRILL, BABY, DRILL, and Free the January 6 Hostages being wrongfully imprisoned!"
