Majority Of Americans Are Behind Trump's Plan For Mass Deportations, New Poll Finds

On Thursday, Axios and The Harris Poll released an exclusive new survey which found the majority of Americans are in favor of one of presumptive Republican nominee Donald J. Trump's most daring immigration proposals - mass deportations. This spells bad news for Joe Biden and the Democrats as more and more Americans rally behind the MAGA agenda. America can no longer be put second, and our borders must be treated like the prized asset they indeed are.

"Half of Americans [51 percent] — including 42% of Democrats — say they'd support mass deportations of undocumented immigrants," Axios reported. "And 30% of Democrats — as well as 46% of Republicans — now say they'd end birthright citizenship, something guaranteed under the 14th Amendment of the Constitution." Of course, that last remark begs the question - it is not the fact of the 14th Amendment that is being debated in the birthright citizenship question but its application and interpretation, two things that are reasonably controversial in the Constitutional Law community but which the 45th president has a legitimate argument for.

With that said, these are remarkable numbers and numbers that surely have Trump and his 'MAGA Republicans' grinning ear to ear. These are arguably the two most peculiar features of Donald Trump's border agenda, and they both have good levels of public support. As such, Axios reports that the Biden administration is truly concerned about the crisis that he is overseeing and how it will affect his reelection chances. His team is even going as far as to blame the crisis on the Trump White House for the chaos—a strategy Axios admits is not currently working. The American people trust their eyes, and the eye test is not favorable to Joe Biden's open border politics.

As the DC Enquirer previously reported, Trump weighed mass deportations earlier in the month, telling talk show host Dan O'Donnell, "We have no choice. And we are going to start with the bad ones, and the local police will know the bad ones; they will know their name, and their middle name, and their numbers, and they will know everything... We are going to have to have mass deportations of people, and we are going to have to start with the criminals, and there are so many of them, you would not believe."

Fortunately for America's border security, Trump remains a potent force to win the presidency in 2024, and, as such, he has a great chance to reimplement a truly potent and America First agenda. The Real Clear Politics polling average has him besting Joe Biden in nationwide polling in recent months, despite the fact that Republican presidential candidates can generally afford to underperform in the popular vote while still winning the election - as they did in 2000 and 2016.

As such, it stands to reason that the radical, far-left Democrats would use any means necessary to gain a much-needed political advantage - including indicting their most likely political opponent. But if Republicans sell their agenda and effectively criticize the Biden administration's America Last policies, the sky is the limit for Republicans in 2024 -- and our nation may very well depend on it. That means rallying around an agenda that is widely popular with Americans -- an agenda that stands up for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all.
