‘They’re Not Just Coming After Trump’: New D’Souza Film ‘Police State’ Trailer Garners Over 74 Million Views As Premiere Nears

Conservative commentator and filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza’s new movie, “Police State,” which warns, “They’re not just coming after Trump, they’re coming after all of us,” has gone viral on social media, receiving over 74 million views on X, formerly known as Twitter, alone.

“They're not just coming after Trump. They're coming after all of us. Are you next? Check out my new film 'Police State' to see what the Left is doing to our country – and what we can do to stop it,” D’Souza has said of the upcoming film.

The movie will air in theaters on October 23 and 25 and the movie’s virtual premiere is on October 27.

The movie has been shared by leading 2024 presidential candidate and 45th President Donald Trump on his top-rated social media platform, Truth Social, as well.

Trump quoted D’Souza, posting, “‘Police State’ is a movie that I never wanted to make, because I never wanted America to get to a point where a movie like this needed to be made. I feel like the animal that alerts the herd to approaching danger, so we can take precautionary steps before it’s too late.’ @DineshDSouza policestatefilm.net.”

This comes after Newsweek published an article revealing the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has categorized supporters of President Trump as “domestic terrorists” and has been tracking them.

The article outlines the main problem the FBI faces - the constitutional right of all Americans, including Trump supporters, to protest the government, speak freely, and campaign.

Newsweek’s William M. Arkin reports, “The federal government believes that the threat of violence and major civil disturbances around the 2024 U.S. presidential election is so great that it has quietly created a new category of extremists that it seeks to track and counter: Donald Trump's army of MAGA followers.”

The Biden administration has labeled President Trump and his supporters as an existential threat to democracy.

In October 2022, the FBI created a new subcategory of “domestic terrorists” known as AGAAVE.

The FBI’s AGAAVE subcategory is defined as American “domestic violent extremists who cite anti-government or anti-authority motivations for violence or criminal activity not otherwise defined, such as individuals motivated by a desire to commit violence against those with a real or perceived association with a specific political party or faction of a specific political party."

Although Trump or his supporters are never named, this is what would apply to them.
