New Survey Shows Trump Dominating the Competition for the Coveted 2024 Republican Nomination As Biden Flounders

A new survey shows Republican frontrunner Donald J. Trump crushing the competition in a hypothetical matchup for the coveted 2024 Republican presidential nomination.

The poll, released by McLaughlin & Associates, asked voters who they would vote for today in a 2024 Republican primary matchup. The poll covers the period between February 17-23, 2023. As you might expect, Trump remains popular among the Republican electorate and that popularity is showing itself in massive 2024 support.

The 45h president has managed to grab 42 percent of voter support. Flordia Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) trails Trump with 26 percent of the vote. After that, former Trump United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley remains far behind — only managing to grab six percent of the vote. As one of the two declared candidate besides Donald Trump, Haley has some serious work cut out for her if she wants the Republican nomination.

Former Vice President Mike Pence is the only other competitor grabbing at least five percent of the vote, with all other competitors faring much worse. Only nine percent of voters remain undecided.

As such, it appears Republican voters are still fond of Trump’s achievements during his four years in office. America was on the ascendancy during this period and it is hard not to look back to the period ranging from 2017 to January 2021 with affection. Trump loves America and is striving for her future as a great nation. Republicans will never forget what Donald Trump did for our country.

Meanwhile, Joe Biden’s numbers in a similar hypothetical 2024 Democratic primary matchup are far from impressive. Only 26 of voters would choose Biden over all other Democrat competitors in 2024. Former First Lady Michelle Obama managed to grab 14 percent of the vote. Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg grabbed 8 percent and 7 percent of the vote, respectively. Twelve percent of voters remain undecided.

The poll demonstrates Biden has failed to produce the degree of enthusiasm among his base that Trump has among Republicans. While Trump inspires Americans to look toward greatness, Biden is content with putting America and her concerns in a secondary position. That is not something Americans will look kindly to in 2024, as Biden’s many failures become increasingly evident as the days’ wind on.
