Trump Destroys His GOP Competition In Key Primary Battleground For 2024

Earlier this week, a new poll released by Washington Post-Monmouth University found leading Republican presidential contender and 45th President Donald Trump dominating the Republican field in a hypothetical South Carolina primary matchup.

The poll, which covers the period from September 6th through September 11th, shows the 45th president grabbing 46 percent of the vote. Former South Carolina Governor and Trump's United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley follows far behind, only managing to draw 18 percent of support among those polled. South Carolina Senator Tim Scott (R-SC), who has yet to generate any real momentum, grabbed a surprisingly impressive ten percent of support.

Even more unexpected is Gov. Ron DeSantis's (R-FL) performance. The Florida governor, long considered Trump's closest Republican political rival, follows even farther behind with nine percent of support among those polled. This poll indicates what we already knew -- this race is Trump's to lose.

Trump's impressive performance in South Carolina is not unexpected. After all, Trump won the state by nearly 12 percentage points in 2020. More importantly, his agenda has resonated with South Carolinians and voters nationwide.

Even with recent indictments, Trump has managed to be a unifying figure for Republicans, and voters are rallying around the 45th president in record numbers. As such, Trump is in as strong of a position with Republican voters as ever. Trump is still the decisive leader in the Republican field, and he and his campaign show no signs of slipping up. The MAGA movement is thriving, and Republican voters continue to appreciate Trump's America First vision for the nation at large. If other Republicans want to bridge the gap between them and Trump, they must change their strategy big league.

More impressively, Trump remains a potent force to win the presidency in 2024. The Real Clear Politics polling average has Biden and Trump neck and neck in most surveys. Donald Trump has even managed to take the lead away from Joe Biden in recent polls. As such, it stands to reason that the radical, far-left Democrats would use any means necessary to gain a much-needed political advantage -- including indicting their most likely political opponent.

The misdeeds of the Biden administration could not be more clear. As such, voters must rally around the eventual Republican nominee if they hope to win big league in 2024. We must hold fast to our founding values, and we must take every political step to hold the radical Democratic Party accountable, as they work to destroy America as established.
