Trump Earns MASSIVE Endorsement From Louisiana Governor After Monumental Victory - 'One Of The Greatest Presidents In Our Country's History'

On Thursday, leading Republican presidential contender and 45th President Donald J. Trump scored another massive endorsement, this time from Lousiana's recently-inaugurated new Governor Jeff Landry (R-LA). The 45th president has maintained a dominant lead over his Republican competitors for the entirety of his 2024 campaign, so this endorsement -- along with several other high-profile endorsements Trump has received in recent memory -- make Trump's grasp of the 2024 GOP nomination all that much more certain. As such, the race for the 2024 GOP nomination is Trump's to lose as Republicans rally around the MAGA agenda.

"The great people of Louisiana overwhelmingly voted for President Donald Trump twice, and I stand with them," Landry said in a statement exclusively provided to Breitbart News. "That is why I am honored to endorse one of the greatest Presidents in our country's history, Donald J. Trump. President Trump helped us make history last year, as we ended eight years of Democrat governance in Baton Rouge." Lousiana, a bright red state in presidential elections, has often supported Democrat statewide politicians -- including electing Democrat John Bel Edwards (D-LA) to the gubernatorial office as recently as 2019. Just a year later, Louisiana voted for Trump over Biden by nearly 20 percentage points -- and in 2023, the Party of Lincoln continued to ride that wave to several key statewide wins for Republican politicians. We hope and pray that Louisiana does not surrender its freedoms to the radical Democrat Party. 

Landry himself gained the coveted Trump endorsement in his 2023 race, with President Trump saying, "I am endorsing your Attorney General Jeff Landry for Governor. He has been a fantastic attorney general. He wants to stop crime. He loves the people of Louisiana just like I do." This is a powerful endorsement from a powerful man of the people -- including the people of Louisiana. Lousiana, just like every state in our union, wants and desires America to be made great again -- and Trump is the man with the plan.
