Trump Lawyer Alina Habba Is Confident That Trump Will Win Appeal In Sham NY Case - 'It Is Not Just About Trump. It Is About Americans'

During a Sunday appearance on Newsmax's 'Sunday Agenda,' Trump lawyer Alina Habba assured viewers that Team Trump is confident in their ability to win an appeal case in New York. This comes after 45th President Donald Trump received a $364 million fine from New York for allegedly committing "financial fraud" -- a claim that Team Trump maintains is absolutely devoid of any merit. Their argument is persuasive, and the American people are behind Trump as he pushes forward a patriotic agenda that puts our interests first and not the interests of the radicals in the Democratic Party.

"We, unfortunately, have political motivation and bias. And we've seen it time and time again, so we're just going to fight the fight and keep pushing," Habba said, referencing New York Attorney General Letitia James's (D-NY) status as a "Get Trump" prosecutor -- she did run on going after President Trump while he was still in office in 2018.

"In any event, it goes on and on & the new AG, who is now being replaced by yet another AG (who openly campaigned on a GET TRUMP agenda), does little else but rant, rave & politic against me. Will never be treated fairly by these people - a total double standard of 'justice,'" President Trump said in a 2018 Twitter post. Donald J. Trump has since said James is trying to destroy New York for a perfectly legitimate financial loan, declaring, "this Communist is looking to destroy New York State with her unconstitutional fine of hundreds of millions of dollars on a perfect legally gotten and fully repaid loan. Can't let this happen," Trump added in a Truth Social post last week. 

"This was before she knew anything about President Trump. She said she was going to go and find things out and take him down. This is a political campaign for her. She uses it to get into office, and she's using it to stay in office. And, unfortunately, these judges are helping," Habba added, as previously reported by Newsmax. 

"All they want to do is take Trump down in an election, and, fortunately, that is not going to work in the long run ... Thank God we have a system with appeals. Thank God we have a Supreme Court that still respects the law in court, law and order, and the Constitution," Habba added. "We have to overturn this for the rest of the state. We really do. It is not just about Trump. It is about Americans."

Fortunately for Habba and patriotic Americans, Donald J. Trump remains a potent force to win the presidency in 2024. The Real Clear Politics polling average has him besting Joe Biden in nationwide polling in recent months, despite the fact that Republican presidential candidates can generally afford to underperform in the popular vote while still winning the election - as they did in 2000 and 2016. As such, it stands to reason that the radical, far-left Democrats would use any means necessary to gain a much-needed political advantage - including indicting their most likely political opponent. But if Republicans sell their agenda and effectively criticize the Biden administration's America Last foreign policies, the sky is the limit for Republicans in 2024 -- and our nation may very well depend on it.
