A recent set of polls released by Sienna College Polling and sponsored by the New York Times and the Philadelphia Inquirer finds presumptive Republican nominee Donald J. Trump with an impressive lead over President Joe Biden in five of the swing states he will need to win if he wants to send a powerful message to the Democrats that the days of America Last are over in this country. From this point forward, it has to be America First, and an America placed first in the order of priorities is good for everyone.
The poll, which covers the period from April 29th to May 9th, finds the 45th president with a twelve-point lead in Nevada -- grabbing 50 percent of the hypothetical vote in comparison to Biden's 38 percent support. Donald Trump fares nearly as well in Georgia -- grabbing 49 percent of support in comparison to Joe Biden's 39 percent support in the Peach State. The presumptive Republican nominee also bests President Biden by 'big-league' numbers in Arizona and Michigan, beating Joe Biden by seven percent in both states. Similarly, the 45th president beats Joe Biden in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin -- grabbing a three percent lead in Wisconsin and a two percent lead in Pennsylvania.
These polls indicate what we already knew—the American people are fed up with the Biden administration, and it is no wonder why. The Biden administration is on a mission to put our nation and its values last, both on the foreign and domestic front, and that is not what we, the people, need in 2024. The MAGA agenda works for America, and we saw what Donald J. Trump accomplished for his people, which was magnificent indeed. Our border was secure, our economy was thriving, and our nation was safe -- three components of a great nation.
Fortunately for America, Trump remains a potent force to win the presidency in 2024. The Real Clear Politics polling average has him besting Joe Biden in nationwide polling in recent months, despite the fact that Republican presidential candidates can generally afford to underperform in the popular vote while still winning the election - as they did in 2000 and 2016.
The potential for Republicans in 2024 is limitless if they effectively communicate their agenda and critique the Biden administration's 'America Last' policies. The future of our nation may very well depend on it. This means uniting around an agenda that resonates with Americans, one that champions life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all.
