New Poll Shows Donald Trump Dwarfing Joe Biden in 2024 Matchup, Winning Huge With Key Demographic

A new poll shows 2024 Republican frontrunner Donald Trump crushing Joe Biden in a hypothetical matchup between the two 2020 competitors.

The poll, published by McLaughlin & Associates, asked respondents, “Now, if the 2024 Presidential election were held today, which one of the following best describes how you would vote in the general election for President between Donald Trump, the Republican candidate and Joe Biden, the Democrat candidate, for whom would you vote?” The poll covers the period between February 17-23 and indicates growing enthusiasm for the candidacy of the 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump.

The poll found Trump up by four percent on Biden among respondents — with Trump pulling 48 percent of the vote and Biden grabbing a measly 44 percent. Thirty-four percent of voters said they would definitely vote for Trump, with 14 percent saying they would either probably or lean towards doing so.

While Biden has a comparable 33 percent of voters who say they would definitely vote for him, only 11 percent say they would only probably or lean towards voting for him. While both men appear to have held their bases — Trump has 90 percent of Republican support and Biden has 87 percent of Democrat support — Trump is dominating Biden regarding the independent vote.

Forty-three percent of independents say they would vote for Trump over Biden, with only thirty-seven percent claiming they would vote for Biden over Trump.

More remarkably, Trump has pulled over eight percent of Biden’s 2020 voters to his side, while Biden has only managed to persuade two percent of Trump’s 2020 voters that he is the right choice.

This poll indicates what we already knew — Americans are discontent with Joe Biden and, as such, they are craving change. While Donald Trump instilled confidence in America and the dream she was striving towards, Biden has caused America to falter in that quest.

Joe Biden is doing anything but making America great again. While Americans believe in the excellence of the American vision, Biden has failed to do justice to the principles of our founders. It appears in 2024, that misstep will hurt him and hurt him big league among the electorate.
