Trump Receives Loving Standing Ovation From Fox News Town Hall

On Tuesday, leading 2024 presidential candidate and 45th President Donald Trump spoke with Fox News' Sean Hannity in Cedar Rapids, Iowa for a town hall.

As soon as Trump walked out, the crowd exploded in cheers, chants, and a standing ovation.

During the town hall, Trump said he sides with peace instead of siding with either Ukraine or Russia.

"You're going to find out when this whole thing is over that the number of people killed is far greater than they tell you," Trump said.

"They're not telling you the truth. I'm for one thing. I want to stop people from getting killed," Trump added.

Trump also took aim at the deep state, saying, "They were trying to take me out. It was like a coup. It's years and years of putting in Democrats and RINOs and we got rid of a lot of them, but we are going to get rid of a lot more."

"They don't frighten us because we are going to Make America Great Again. That's all there is," Trump added.

This comes after Trump announced on Tuesday that he received a target letter from Special Counsel Jack Smith revealing a third indictment against him in the January 6 investigation.

Trump, who was also frivolously indicted by far-left Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg in March was federally indicted by Special Counsel Jack Smith again last month.

Trump pleaded not guilty to all 37 fraudulent counts brought by Special Counsel Jack Smith relating to him supposedly “mishandling” classified documents.

Luckily for Trump, he has the ultimate defense. Trump turned Jack Smith’s frivolous federal indictment of him on its head when he cited the Presidential Records Act as a defense.

The Presidential Records Act is a 1978 law that allows presidents to decide what records to keep and take, regardless of what the National Archives and Records Administration thinks.
