Trump Scores Multiple Endorsements From Midwest Republicans Ahead Of Iowa - 'We Stand Together To Endorse Donald J. Trump For President'

Leading Republican presidential contender and 45th President Donald J. Trump scored another significant endorsement, this time from Minnesota's four Congressional Republicans. This endorsement only solidifies Trump's grasp of the 2024 Republican presidential nomination -- representing Republicans for the third straight election. After all, Trump's ULTRA-MAGA agenda is still broadly popular with his Republican base and, as has been increasingly apparent in recent polling, is more popular than Biden's America Last set of policies.

On Tuesday morning, the campaign account of Michelle Fischbach (R-MN) tweeted, "Today, House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (MN-06), Congressman Brad Finstad (MN-01), Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach (MN-07), and Congressman Pete Stauber (MN-08) released the following statement regarding their endorsement of Donald J. Trump for President of the United States." This is a significant endorsement in a state that has not voted Republican since Richard Nixon but which, nonetheless, has been consistently competitive for Republican candidates. After all, Minnesota was notoriously the only state Reagan lost in 1984, losing by a close .18 margin. This is an explosive step in Trump's quest to flip Minnesota red, a goal he nearly achieved in 2016 against Hillary Clinton.

The statement continued, adding, "Joe Biden's failed policies have left Minnesotans to grapple with double digit inflation, higher taxes, and a border crisis that has turned every community into a border community. Minnesotans and all Americans deserve better. It is time for Republicans to come together in support of a leader who has what it takes to get our country back on track. We stand together to endorse Donald J. Trump for President." This is not the only high-profile House endorsement Trump has secured this week. On Monday, House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA) endorsed the 45th president's 2024 bid for the White House. As the DC Enquirer previously reported, Scalise tweeted, "I am proud to endorse Donald Trump for president in 2024, and I look forward to working with President Trump and a Republican House and Senate to fight for those families who are struggling under the weight of Biden's failed policies."

Fortunately for Scalise and these Minnesota Republicans, Trump has a great chance of winning in the year ahead. Trump has managed to be a unifying figure for Republicans, and voters are rallying around him in record numbers. As such, Trump is in as strong of a position with Republican voters as ever, and his general election numbers are also impressive. The Real Clear Politics polling average has Trump besting Biden in nationwide polling in recent weeks, even though Republicans can generally afford to underperform in the popular vote while still winning the election -- as they did in 2000 and 2016. As such, 2024 could be an excellent year for the MAGA movement and, as such, an excellent year for the people of our nation, who are being crushed under the weight of Bidenomics and Biden's radical open border agenda. We, the people of this nation, demand better.
