WATCH: Trump Takes Hard Stance Against The Return Of COVID-19 Lockdowns – 'WE WILL NOT COMPLY'

Donald Trump took a hard stance against the growing movement from the left to restart the COVID lockdowns, releasing a video on Wednesday that claimed they will use concern over the disease to “justify more lockdowns, more censorship, more illegal drop boxes, more mail-in ballots” and other means to interfere. 

“The left-wing lunatics are trying very hard to bring back COVID lockdowns and mandates with all of their sudden fear-mongering about the new variants that are coming. Gee-whiz, you know what else is coming? An election,” the New York businessman said in a video posted by his team to X (formerly Twitter). 

“They want to restart the COVID hysteria so they can justify more lockdowns, more censorship, more illegal drop boxes, more mail-in ballots, and trillions of dollars in payoffs to their political allies heading into the 2024 election. Does that sound familiar?” he continued.

“These are bad people, these are sick people we’re dealing with,” Trump stated. “But to every COVID tyrant who wants to take away our freedom, hear these words: we will not comply. So don’t even think about it. We will not shut down our schools. We will not accept your lockdowns. We will not abide by your mask mandates, and we will not tolerate your vaccine mandates.”

He said that he and his followers will not be closing down their schools and businesses even if mandated and claimed that they “rigged the 2020 election” and are “trying to do the same thing all over again by rigging the most important election in the history of our country — the 2024 election — even if it means trying to bring back COVID.”

“But they will fail because we will not let it happen. When I’m back in the White House I will use every available authority to cut federal funding to any school, college, airline, or public transportation system that imposes a mask mandate or a vaccine mandate,” he finished. “Thank you very much.”

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, many different news outlets and media channels are reporting on different variants of COVID and raising the idea of returning to masking or lockdowns. President Joe Biden also requested for Congress to set aside more money to further develop a new COVID-19 vaccine and said that it will be “tentatively” recommended “that everybody get it” when released.

The Democrats stumbled upon a powerful tool in COVID-19 and seem to be unwilling to part with it. Every day it seems like a new method from the left to influence the election comes out while crying wolf that the right is the one interfering instead. With the Department of Justice on their side, it seems like no one can stop them either.
