Trump Takes Over Social Media With Over 42 Million Views Across 31 Video Posts

On Wednesday, leading 2024 presidential candidate and 45th President Donald Trump posted 31 videos on his top-rated social media platform, Truth Social, and other social media platforms and has amassed over 42 million views.

As of Thursday morning, Trump's videos received 42,300,000 views across Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), and Truth Social.

Trump's personal Instagram page posted 28 videos and received over 25.9 million views.

The leading Republican candidate's campaign Instagram page, @TeamTrump, posted two of Trump's videos and received over 101,500 views.

Meanwhile, his campaign X page, @TrumpWarRoom, posted 12 videos and received over 1.2 million views.

Trump's other campaign X page, @TeamTrump, posted 13 videos and received over 3.7 million views.

Finally, the Republican frontrunner posted 31 videos on his Truth Social page, which received over 460,000 likes.

Although Trump's Truth Social doesn't include a viewership number, it is estimated that an average like-to-watch ratio for social media platforms is four percent or four likes per 100 views.

Using that formula, Trump's 31 videos on Truth Social received over 11.5 million views.

In total, over 42,300,000 people viewed Trump's videos across Instagram, X, and Truth Social as of Thursday morning.

In Trump's best-performing video on X, Trump vowed to "use every available authority to cut federal funding to any school, college, airline or public transportation system that imposes a mask mandate or a vaccine mandate."

"COVID Tyrants want to take away our Freedom. Hear my words— WE WILL NOT COMPLY," Trump wrote as the caption with the video.

This comes after Trump’s interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson on X, formerly known as Twitter, which was released during Fox News’ first GOP presidential debate. The sit-down has made history as the most-watched interview ever recorded.

Within 15 hours of being posted, the interview had amassed over 204 million views and that number is continuing to climb.

Trump’s interview reaching over 200 million people is record-breaking because the title of most watched interview of all time used to be held by Oprah Winfrey’s interview with Michael Jackson in 1993, which reached 62.3 million views.
