Former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard has proven efficient at making headlines based on her views that constantly cross party lines. This time around, Gabbard has made headlines by posting a video condemning both the Democrats complicit in the creation of the new Disinformation Governance Board and RINOs who only care that it is being headed by a biased theater enthusiast.

Gabbard’s monologue starts, ”And to all the Democrat’s out there who say over and over again about how you stand strong against dictatorships. I’m wondering where your voice is now, condemning this creation of a Ministry of Truth in our own Department of Homeland Security.”

She continues, “Even worse, the Republicans who are out there saying, “Hey, we need this propaganda board, as long as it’s not headed by somebody who’s biased, as long as it is not Jankowicz.” All of you need to read the Bill of Rights again and be reminded about what our freedom of speech really means and how important it is to us all.”

It is almost disingenuous to associate Gabbard with any mainstream Democrat at this point given the frequency that Gabbard finds herself agreeing with opposing opinions. Repeatedly, she has shown she is less interested in Republican v. Democrat and is more interested in the genuine preservation of the freedoms Americans can still enjoy. It is unfortunate that the Democrats have shifted the Overton window so far that genuinely moderate Democrats, like Tulsi Gabbard, appear to make strides towards the Right despite holding her ground.

Gabbard has refused to remain silent when she has genuine opposition to her party and the Administration. She released a tweet Sunday suggesting that Biden is just a front man for Obama and his team.

Obama’s pro-censorship speech, as Gabbard points out, took place less than a week before the Department of Homeland Security announced its new Disinformation Governance Board. The contents of the speech sounded ominously similar to the talking points that Biden and Press Secretary Jen Psaki has been parroting since Biden took office.

Saturday, she also tweeted in opposition to the mainstream media and commented on the reaction by the media and the Administration to Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter. She continued by asserting that freedom-loving Americans must reject the tyrants responsible for the reaction and the creation of the Ministry of Truth.

Tulsi is joined by many Republicans in strongly opposing the new disinformation board. Notably, she joins GOP heavyweight Ron DeSantis in condemning those responsible.

It should be the hope of any American in opposition to establishment narrative control, that outright discontent with the new board continues to dominate the discussion about the new board.

With the exception of Tulsi Gabbard and a handful of other notable Democrats, only crickets can be heard from the left side of the political aisle. Democrats like Tulsi Gabbard serve as a prime example of how those who hold moderate positions can often seem extreme when the mainstream party makes drastic shifts towards tyranny. It also highlights the importance of not ceding any ideological ground to those who wish to control you – no matter how hard they try to leverage your emotions.
