‘Vivek Is Not MAGA’: Trump Takes Aim At Vivek For Deceitful T-Shirt Stunt - ‘Don’t Waste Your Vote’

On Saturday, leading 2024 presidential candidate and 45th President Donald Trump took aim at Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy for posting a photo of himself with six supporters wearing his new campaign shirt, suggesting you can only “Save Trump” if you vote for Vivek.

In a post from his top-rated social media platform, Truth Social, Trump wrote, “Vivek started his campaign as a great supporter, ‘the best President in generations,’ etc. Unfortunately, now all he does is disguise his support in the form of deceitful campaign tricks. Very sly, but a vote for Vivek is a vote for the ‘other side’ — don’t get duped by this. Vote for ‘TRUMP,’ don’t waste your vote! Vivek is not MAGA. The Biden Indictments against his Political Opponent will never be allowed in this Country, they are already beginning to fall! MAGA!!!”

An hour prior to Trump’s post, Vivek posted on his X/Twitter account a photo of himself with six supporters wearing t-shirts that read “SAVE TRUMP VOTE VIVEK” alongside a photo of Trump’s August mugshot. “A group of young men in Iowa came out in the blizzard. They sent a clear message,” Vivek wrote in the post.

Trump is correct, as per usual, when he says that Vivek started his campaign as a Trump supporter. Ramaswamy has been very careful not to attack Trump and only say positive lines and comments regarding him.

During the August Fox News Republican presidential primary debate, Ramaswamy defended Trump numerous times as the “best president of the 21st century.” Due to Ramaswamy’s loyalty and kind words to Trump, Trump has refrained from attacking Ramaswamy. “This answer gave Vivek Ramaswamy a big WIN in the debate because of a thing called TRUTH. Thank you, Vivek,” Trump wrote after the first GOP primary debate.

Sadly for Vivek, his latest t-shirt stunt has severed his relationship with the leader of the Republican Party and President Donald John Trump.
