WATCH: Al Sharpton Stuns America, Admits The Border Crisis Is An 'Invasion Of Migrants'

During a Monday appearance on MSNBC's 'Morning Joe', Al Sharpton told Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) that the border crisis was an 'invasion' -- a stunning admission from a radical leftist. At the same time, however, Sharpton criticized Republicans for not throwing their support behind the Senate's latest "Border Bill" -- a piece of legislation that does little to stop the inflow of illegal migrants. There is a reason Republicans are not throwing their support behind the bill en masse -- MAGA patriots know better than to settle for any half-measures when it comes to this most prized of assets. We, the people, demand borders we can trust. 

"What is being done to get the public to really rise up in various states to say to their senators that they want to see the border issue resolved?" Sharpton asked of Murphy. "I mean, you are getting migrants beating up policemen in the streets of New York. You are seeing an influx of migrants all over the country that, frankly, have people outraged. Could not there be some kind of public pressure put in the next couple of days in some of these senators’ states saying, ‘Why are you allowing this to continue?’ Because at the end of the day, senators have to deal with their voters."

Sharpton continued, adding, "and at the same time, in the bill, you give money to Gaza, to civilians in Gaza and Israel. But the border, I mean, we’re looking every day at the invasion of migrants, and they’re playing a time game with politics on this? Couldn’t the pressure be put to bear in their home states?" Sharpton is right that the border crisis is an 'invasion.' However, Sharpton's prescription is all wrong -- the Democrats do need to take a political hit as the party of the open border. Since the bill will not stop the inflow of migrants, it is a fool's errand to cooperate with the radical Democratic Party -- the party of the open border.

Fortunately for America, 45th President Donald J. Trump is a fierce defender of border security, writing in a Truth Social post, "Only a fool, or a Radical Left Democrat, would vote for this horrendous Border Bill, which only gives Shutdown Authority after 5000 Encounters a day, when we already have the right to CLOSE THE BORDER NOW, which must be done. This Bill is a great gift to the Democrats, and a Death Wish for The Republican Party." Trump is exactly right, and this is why Republicans must act decisively in 2024 to fight for the integrity of our Southern Border."
