WATCH: The View's Ana Navarro Says The Unthinkable, Claims The Hunter Biden Scandal Is A Story Of 'A Father's Love'

During a Monday episode of ABC's 'The View', co-host Ana Navarro argued a central story of the Hunter Biden scandal is Joe Biden's love for his embattled son.

"I have known Joe Biden since he was a senator, for about 20-some years. I can't tell you how much his life has been marked by losing not one child but two children. And once you’ve lost a child, I think you are absolutely determined — it’s even more urgent. It's even a bigger issue that you will not lose another one," Navarro said, addressing the controversies surrounding Hunter Biden -- which are explosive indeed. They may even implicate the federal government if recent testimony is to be believed. Simply put, there is a major story here, but one the radical left wants the American people to ignore.

"The Hunter Biden story, the scandal, the this, the that — it’s also the story of a father’s love, and Joe Biden has never and will never give up on his son Hunter and will never treat him lesser than," Navarro continued. "He is a father first. Take it or leave it. That’s who he is. That is part of his heart. There were 380 people at this dinner. It’s not like Hunter was sitting at Merrick Garland’s lap. It was a bunch of people — part of the reason that Hunter Biden has been able to get out of addiction is because Joe Biden embraced him entirely the entire time."

For context, Navarro was responding to a controversy surrounding Hunter Biden's attendance last Thursday at a White House state dinner featuring Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Hunter Biden's attendance at the event came just two days after he struck a plea deal with the Justice Department.

Addressing the backlash, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters, "I’m just not going to get into family discussion — personal family discussion. As you know, Hunter is his son. I’m just not going to get into that."

Karine Jean-Pierre did provide more details, adding, "A couple of things. Again, that’s his son. It’s a — he’s a family member. It is not uncommon for family members to attend events at the White House. We could look at past presidents; I’m sure you have. So that is not uncommon. As it relates to anything related to — to Hunter, I’m just not going to respond to it from here."

These non-answers aren't cutting it. The American people demand more substance from a White House that should be more concerned about serving them and their needs. The charges are severe, after all, and transparency is of paramount importance. The real story of the Hunter Biden plea deal is not one of a 'father's love' but, instead, potential corruption and impartiality in our Justice Department.
