WATCH: Anti-Israel Vandals Claim To Have Released Maggots At Hotel Hosting Israeli Prime Minister

Ahead of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's address to a joint session of Congress on Wednesday, anti-Israel protesters claimed to have released maggots and other bugs at the Watergate Hotel that is hosting some members of the Israeli delegation. The group, the DC Palestinian Youth Movement, also repeatedly pulled the fire alarm throughout the night to prevent members of the delegation from getting sleep.

A video posted to social media by the group shows bugs crawling on a table with the Israeli and American flags in the background. In a statement, the group said that they wanted to ensure that the Israelis don't get any "peace" or "rest" during their stay in Washington, D.C. "Palestine protestors manufactured chaos at the Watergate Hotel last night so that Netanyahu, Israeli Mossad agents, and the Secret Service had no peace as they continue to terrorize our people," the group stated. "Mealworms and maggots (not talking about Netanyahu) were left on their banquet tables, and crickets were released on multiple floors of the hotel."

The group also claimed that they pulled the fire alarm for over 30 minutes on multiple floors to send a message to those in the hotel who are supposed to be protected by the Secret Service. "May their dreams be haunted by the death of our people and decay of their society," the group's statement reads. "There will be no peace, there will be no rest, until the war criminal's arrest."

The group's actions come after another anti-Israel group occupied the Cannon House Office Building to demand Congress halt all arms shipments to the Middle East democracy. As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, the demonstrators, all of whom were wearing red shirts that read "Stop Arming Israel," sat down in the Cannon Office Building rotunda with signs that read "Let Gaza Live" and "Jews Say: Stop The Genocide." The hundreds of demonstrators, many of whom were wearing face masks, loudly disrupted staffers and representatives attempting to get through the work day, leading Capitol Police to begin making arrests.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will be giving a speech to Congress on Wednesday afternoon in an address that will be boycotted by multiple prominent Democrats including Vice President Kamala Harris, former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), and many others.
