WATCH: Antifa Violently Attacks UC Davis To Stop TPUSA Event — UC Chancellor Claimed Charlie Kirk ‘Advocated For Violence Against Transgender Individuals’

Turning Point USA and its founder Charlie Kirk arrived at the University of California Davis Campus on Tuesday as part of the conservative activist group’s Live Free Tour. But rather than a typical message calling for cooler heads to prevail and urging tolerance of differing viewpoints, Chancellor Gary May in a video message alleged that Kirk “advocated for violence against transgender individuals.” The match was struck.

May told the UC Davis students, “Thank you for sharing your distress at a student group hosting a speaker who is a well-documented proponent of misinformation and hate and who has advocated for violence against transgender individuals,” according to The Post Millennial.

He further added, “UC policy permits denial of request if the speaker will present a clear and present danger to the campus. Our council also notes that there is a similarly heavy burden for criminal prosecution for incitement of violence. Please be assured that we are monitoring the event closely to determine if a threat or incitement develops that meets that threshold. We can’t control how these groups operate, but we can work together to neutralize and negate their influence. So having to speak to an empty room would make a powerful statement.”

May seemed to be suggesting a strategy of preventing the attendance of the event and insinuating Kirk and TPUSA could be barred and even prosecuted if they should create “a threat or incitement.”

By the end of the day, the entrance doors to the UC Davis hall where Kirk spoke would be shattered, University Police would be forced to confront violent rioters, and students as well as other attendees would be forcibly prevented from attending the event.

The video message from May that falsely claimed Kirk had called for the “lynching,” of ‘transgender‘ individuals, Antifa terrorists massed at UC Davis and rioted, assaulting attendees, vandalizing and damaging property.

The Post Millennial’s Savanah Hernandez shot dramatic video of the Antifa rioters charging the line of attendees waiting to enter.

According to Post Millennial, Riot police engaged the rioters surrounding the TPUSA event and were seen taking several into custody.

Kirk during an interview with former University of Kentucky swimmer Riley Gaines, which precipitated May’s statement spoke of an incident in which female NCAA athletes were subjected to fully intact male ‘transgenders’ sharing changing spaces with them.

The TPUSA founder said, “I blame the decline of American men, this never should have been, you know … someone should have just took care of it the way we used to take care of things in the 1950s or 60s … look, there are a lot of sick people in the world, unfortunately, and without the strength to go against them, the country is going to completely totally fall apart.”

Later in the same episode, he clarified his comments,

“Look, you got to have self-control and self-restraint. Obviously, we’ve never advocated for violence on this program, nor is that not the answer, and I encourage everyone to remain peaceful.”

When a commenter suggested violent action he strenuously rejected the notion, saying “Okay, look, I want to be clear. Don’t be stupid. You’ve got to work within the law, which means you have to be peaceful.”

Kirk indicated that he is considering a defamation suit against the University.
