WATCH: Chris Cuomo Expresses Openness To Voting For Trump In 2024 - 'I Am Always Open'

On Thursday, disgraced former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo said he is "open" to voting for leading Republican presidential contender and 45th President Donald J. Trump in the 2024 presidential elections. This comes after Cuomo served as one of CNN's biggest anti-Trump voices while hosting 'Cuomo Prime Time,' which he left towards the end of 2021 after a scandal involving his brother, former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D-NY).

Cuomo told host Patrick Bet David during an appearance on the PBD Podcast, "If it's Biden-Trump, look, for me—again, we survived a Trump administration. Would we survive another one? Yes, yes. I don't think there's any greater risk to America with him than with Biden. And for people who are now going to attack me and say, 'What are you talking about? Trump is, like, this crazy man,' well, look, you know, as Patrick says, the data's the data. No one was trying to kill us when Trump was president in a way that they're not now. If anything, there's more hostility."

Cuomo continued, adding, "And you can have reasons for that, any way you want. I'm just saying, existentially, I'm not afraid of a Trump presidency. Existentially, I'm not afraid of another Biden presidency because, unlike many people in America, I believe that the country is much stronger than any individual leader. We survived the Russia thing. We survived January 6. We survived having Biden as a gaffe machine. We survived Congress going after each other and doing nothing for the rest of us. We survived these things. Are we better for it? No."

Cuomo then assessed the possibility of voting for President Trump, remarking, "But, you know, in terms of who I'm going to vote for, I would really have to see where we are at that moment in time." And when Patrick Bet David pressed Cuomo on if he was open to voting for Trump, he replied, "I am always open."

These are surprising remarks, but they are indicative of a growing trend - Americans are moving away from Biden and towards Trump. Trump has managed to be a unifying figure for Republicans, and voters are rallying around the 45th president in record numbers. As such, Trump is in as strong of a position with Republican voters as ever. Truly, Trump remains a potent force to win the presidency in 2024. And if Chris Cuomo is telling the truth, Cuomo might be one of the voters throwing his support behind the Ultra-MAGA agenda of the 45th president.
