WATCH: Democrat Lawmaker Triggered by Marjorie Taylor Greene at Trump Indictment Protest

On Tuesday, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) along with the New York Young Republican Club took to the streets of Manhattan to protest the indictment of 45th President Donald Trump.

One Democrat lawmaker, Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY), however, was triggered by Greene’s presence and claimed that she is doing it to angle for a place on the 2024 ticket alongside Trump.

“Do your fricking job, Marjorie Taylor Greene. You don’t need to be in New York City talking that nonsense. Go back to your district,” Bowman demanded. “What are you doing here? You’re here for politics. You’re here because you want to be VP. You’re here for your own fundraising. You’re here for your own nonsense.”

As the protest against Trump’s indictment continues, various counter-protestors have assembled to drown out Greene and Trump’s supporters with some handing out whistles and other instruments to make noise.

That didn’t stop the Georgia Republican from making her voice heard, however, by the thousands assembled [outside the Manhattan courthouse.

“To Mayor Adams, as you can see I’m standing here peacefully protesting but you called me out by name,” the Georgia lawmaker began. “While you allow crime in your streets and you send your henchmen down here to commit assaults against people by making loud noises.”

“Assault against police officers who are doing their jobs trying to keep everything civil and trying to prevent violence. Democrats are the party of violence,” she explained. “They are the party that enabled and funded and cheered for violent riots all through 2020 and they allowed cities to be burned, $2 billion worth of damage.”

“That’s the Democrat Party,” Greene said. “We’re the party of peace. We’re the party that wants to protest the lives of the unborn. We’re the party of male and female, two genders only. We are the party of secure borders.”

“We’re the party that will bring peace to the world like President Trump did, not World War III like Joe Biden is doing,” the Republican emphasized. “We’re the party of economic prosperity. We’re the party where every American can live the American Dream. Democrats are the communists.”

“They’re destroying America. They’re destroying freedom,” she concluded, adding, “Democrats are the ones that have nothing to campaign for because they are failures and they’re proving it today.”

Greene then went on to thank the NYYRC for organizing the protest, Trump supporters for turning out, and the media for covering the protest before chants of “USA! USA!” broke out.

As the protest outside of the courthouse continues, the American people anticipate what will take place inside the courthouse this afternoon given Trump’s arraignment is scheduled for 2:15 p.m. EST.
