WATCH: Democrat Rep. Dan Goldman Says Russia Is Using House Republicans To 'Interfere' In 2024 Election To Elect Trump

On Tuesday evening, Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) joined Anderson Cooper on CNN to discuss the ongoing investigation into President Joe Biden by House Republicans and the upcoming presidential race. During the discussion, Goldman asserted that Russian President Vladimir Putin is using House Republicans to rig the 2024 election for Donald Trump.

"Not only is there no evidence of any wrongdoing by President Biden, but it now appears as if the House Republican majority is being used by Russia to interfere in the 2024 election on behalf of Donald Trump," Rep. Goldman said. "If they continue with this investigation, they are simply doing the work of Vladimir Putin to help Donald Trump win an election in November. That's where we are."

In response to the statement, cybersecurity expert Mike Benz explained that Goldman's assertion could be the predicate for action from bureaucratic actors in the security services. "If I have taught you nothing else, it's to recognize that when this claim is made by a Blob creature, it lays a formal predicate for the Blob to crack open the combined Dept Of Dirty Tricks of CIA, FBI, Pentagon & State to all go after domestics, citing 'counterintelligence,'" he wrote.

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) forwarded a similar talking point on Mondy during an appearance on MSNBC. "We're all wondering this question, Speaker Pelosi: what do you think Putin has on him? It sure seems like something as you have said a few times given that he refuses to criticize him and given that he seems to be a fanboy of him," MSNBC host and former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki asked.

"First of all, we must make sure that he doesn't take one foot in the White House," Pelosi began, adding that Trump disgraced the White House and the legacy of former presidents like George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. "We have someone who had the honor of serving in the White House. Didn't consider it an honor. Didn't consider his oath of office to protect and defend the Constitution. This week, speaking out in the way he did about Navalny shows you that he is a person without values."

Trump took to Truth Social on Monday to comment about the Russian opposition leader's death, writing, "The sudden death of Alexei Navalny has made me more and more aware of what is happening in our Country. It is a slow, steady progression, with CROOKED, Radical Left Politicians, Prosecutors, and Judges leading us down a path to destruction. Open Borders, Rigged Elections, and Grossly Unfair Courtroom Decisions are DESTROYING AMERICA. WE ARE A NATION IN DECLINE, A FAILING NATION! MAGA2024."

"He looks like he is going to be a person without dollars either," she said about the recent $355 million fine Trump is ordered to pay in the civil fraud case in New York. "The values are what concern us. I don't know what he has on him, but I think it's probably financial."

As President Biden continues to struggle in the polls, Democrats are reaching into the old playbook to salvage his struggling campaign. Special Counsel Robert Mueller completely shot down the Russian collusion conspiracy theory, and any attempt to revive it is dishonest and pure politics.
