WATCH: GOP Congressman Ogles Says It Is 'Go Time' For Impeaching Biden As White House Prepares 'War Room' - 'We Have Got To Be Ready'

On Monday, Congressman Andy Ogles (R-TN) told Newsmax that it is 'go time' for the House to impeach Joe Biden, saying congressional Republicans 'have got to be ready' to act for the sake of the American people.

"I think, as on the Republican side, we have got to be ready, and I think it is go time," Ogles said during a Monday appearance on Newsmax's 'Newsline.' "I mean, I don't know why we have to drag this out. Quite frankly, my articles of impeachment can be offered as a privileged motion, which would trigger a vote within 48 hours. I mean look, you've got tens of millions of dollars that have been accepted by the Biden family. The evidence is there."

Ogles then addressed the strategy of House Republicans, saying they have no incentive to drag out the process of impeaching Biden. After all, that gives the Biden administration time to create a new strategy to deal with the potentially looming impeachment.

"Why are we going to drag this out, and give the opportunity for the White House to kind of push back, and use this to somehow bring Trump into the equation because you know that that's what they're going to do. They are going to try to make Trump the issue, not Biden," Ogles added. "I mean look, this idea that he does not have a house to go to ... he has a big white one in DC that he needs to go to and do his daggum job. I mean, the country is in crisis and he is going on vacation. Come on, this is ridiculous."

This comes after House Oversight Chair James Comer (R-KY) signaled his support for beginning impeachment inquiries into Joe Biden -- saying he would vote for impeachment if the vote were held 'right now.'

"My colleagues in the House will have an opportunity to do something with that. If they want to impeach, then we will do that," Comer told Newsmax's 'Rob Schmitt Tonight', as previously reported by the DC Enquirer. "You know where I stand on that. I would vote to impeach right now. But at the end of the day, we're building a case that will win in court because the, one thing, the Bidens keep moving the goalpost."

The battle lines are being drawn as House Republicans plot their next move. One thing is sure -- patriotic Americans all over our nation are demanding action. We, the people, cannot stand by as blatant corruption finds its way into the White House. The American people demand an Administration they can trust.
