WATCH: Hillary Clinton Says The Unthinkable About Donald Trump, Claims He Would Rule Like Putin And 'Kill His Opposition'

During an interview on Democrat Election Lawyer Marc Elias's 'Democracy Docket' podcast, former First Lady Hillary Clinton claimed that Donald J. Trump would very much like to rule like Russian President Vladimir Putin and other authoritarian leaders around the world. In fact, Clinton claimed that the 45th president would go so far as to kill his opposition -- unthinkable comments for a former presidential nominee, especially one who lost by big numbers in the electoral college to the eventual winner, whom she is effectively defaming.

"Trump was just gaga over Putin because Putin does what Trump would like to do: Kill his opposition, imprison his opposition, drive journalists and others into exile, rule without any check or balance," Hillary Clinton told Marc Elias, as previously reported by Fox News Digitial. These are, of course, despicable remarks -- Republicans care about the rule of law and the Constitution. The Democrats are the ones who detest the checks and balance structure upon which our democratic republic depends, and the radical left's attempts at gaslighting the American people are appalling indeed.

The former first lady continued her alarming rant, adding, "That's what Trump really wants. And so we have to be very conscious of how he sees the world because, in that world, he only sees strongmen leaders. He sees Putin, he sees Xi [in China], he sees Kim Jong-un in North Korea. Those are the people he is modeling himself after, and we've been down this road in our, you know, world history. We sure don't want to go down that again."

These remarks are pretty rich coming from a noteworthy member of a political party that appears hellbent on jailing its most potent competitor, Donald J. Trump.  Fortunately for the rule of law in America, Trump remains a potent force to win the presidency in 2024. The Real Clear Politics polling average has him besting Joe Biden in nationwide polling in recent months, despite the fact that Republican presidential candidates can generally afford to underperform in the popular vote while still winning the election - as they did in 2000 and 2016.

The potential for Republicans in 2024 is limitless if they effectively communicate their agenda and critique the Biden administration's 'America Last' policies -- policies that Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is defending with all her might. The future of our nation may very well depend on it. This means uniting around an agenda that resonates with Americans, one that champions life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all.
