WATCH: Iconic Rapper Ne-Yo SLAMS Parents Who Push Gender Ideology On Kids Before Issuing SAD Apology

During an appearance on the VladTV YouTube Channel, rapper Ne-Yo slammed parents who pushed gender ideology on kids, before issuing an apology over Twitter.

"I feel like parents have almost forgotten what the role of a parent is. If your little boy comes to you and says, ‘Daddy, I want to be a girl.’ And you just let him rock with that? He’s 5. If you let this five-year-old boy decide to eat candy all day, he is going to do it," Ne-Yo told interviewer Gloria Velez.

“Like when did it become a good idea to let a five-year-old, let a six-year-old, let a 12-year-old make a life-changing decision for they self? When did that happen? Like, I don’t understand that. I don’t get that," Ne-Yo added, "He can’t drive a car yet, but he can decide his sex?"

"I can't take credit for it, but I heard someone say sometimes, and he said, 'alright, if your son comes to you and says, 'daddy I want to be a girl,' ask your son, 'what is a girl?' What is he gonna do? He’s gonna say well; he might want to play with dolls. All right, you want to play with dolls? Fine, play with dolls, but you’re a boy. ‘I wanna wear pink.’ All right, cool, wear pink, but you’re a boy wearing pink."

Ne-Yo is essentially denying the connection between style preferences and gender identity. Indeed, even those on the radical left deny there is a necessary connection between the two -- except when it comes to pressing radical gender ideology on young children, it seems.

While Ne-Yo seemed more than willing to advocate for his position during his appearance on VladTV, he walked back his remarks later on Twitter, saying, "After much reflection, I’d like to express my deepest apologies to anyone that I may have hurt with my comments on parenting and gender identity."

"I’ve always been an advocate for love and inclusivity in the LGBTQI+ community, so I understand how my comments could’ve been interpreted as insensitive and offensive. Gender identity is nuanced and I can honestly admit that I plan to better educate myself on the topic, so I can approach future conversations with more empathy. At the end of the day, I lead with love and support everyone’s freedom of expression and pursuit of happiness," Ne-Yo concluded.
