WATCH: LibsOfTikTok Founder Hand-Delivers Ethics Complaint to AOC, Heated Exchange Follows

On Thursday, LibsOfTikTok founder Chaya Raichik released a video where she hand-delivered an ethics complaint to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) after the lawmaker lied about Raichik during a congressional hearing.

“I served [AOC] with an ethics complaint after she lied about me in a committee hearing,” Raichik wrote on Twitter. “AOC wasn’t in her office but then I bumped into her as I was leaving the Capitol!”

Accompanying Raichik was The Heritage Foundation’s Mike Howell who oversees the Oversight Project which seeks to hold the government accountable.

“I am here outside the Cannon building. I was here last week because I attempted to ask AOC why she lied about me in a committee hearing. She cowered away, she refused to talk to me,” the LibsOfTikTok founder said. “So I’m back here today, one week later, and I’m going to deliver her an ethics complaint that I filed for lying about an American citizen during a committee hearing.”

“So AOC, she broke the rules. Believe it or not, there are actually rules on Capitol Hill and [House rule] 23, clause 1 is a big one,” Howell explained. “You got to act in a way that reflects credibility on the House and lying about, you know, a U.S. citizen certainly doesn’t do that.”

The duo then proceeded to AOC’s office in the Cannon Office Budling and hand-delivered the ethics complaint to one of AOC’s staff.

“So basically a few weeks ago, AOC lied about me in a committee hearing. So, I tried to come last week and talk to her, but she kind of cowered away, wasn’t interested in talking to me,” Raichik explained to the staffer. “So, together with Mike from The Heritage Foundation Oversight, he helped me file this ethics complaint. So we filed that. And if you could give it to AOC I would really appreciate it.”

“And tell her to stop lying about American citizens,” she added.

Then in a twist turn, Raichik bumped into AOC while in the Capitol which led to a heated exchange between the two.

“I just delivered an ethics complaint to your office because you lied about me in a committee hearing,” the LIbsOfTikTok founder told AOC, adding, “I never inspired a bomb threat.”

“You’re actually super transphobic and I never want to share a space with you. Thank you,” AOC said in response before quickly hurrying away.

It seems like when AOC is actually confronted with her lies she is far more willing to run away than face the consequences.
