On Wednesday, Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) joined Fox News's Sean Hannity to discuss the likelihood of a Trump presidency in light of the recent indictments at the hands of Special Counsel Jack Smith. Graham argued the Department of Justice was applying two standards of justice -- one for Democrat politicians and another for 45th President Donald J. Trump.
“Hunter Biden gets a plea deal that no one in your audience [the audience of Hannity's program] would get.," Graham said during his appearance on Fox News's 'Hannity.' "He's not going to jail ... hidden in the plea deal is a decision not to prosecute. When it comes to Donald Trump, they make up lies."
"When it comes to Donald Trump, there are no rules. Destroy him, destroy his family. When it comes to Hunter Biden and Joe Biden, they get away with almost everything," Graham said.
Hannity then asked Graham why Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton -- who behaved in ways clearly unbecoming of their offices -- got off scot-free for apparent violations of their duties as vice president and secretary of state, respectively. Indeed, neither was the president when they mishandled classified materials -- there is no argument for the legitimacy of how these Democrats handled their classified materials.
To this, Graham replied, "Well, it’s their double standard. The only reason we know about the Burisma deal that about a week before he goes to Ukraine, Burisma officials pay about four or five million dollars to Hunter Biden and his friends to get him to fire the prosecutor. That worked. There is no independent media in this country. They’re in the tank for the Democratic Party."
Graham continued, adding, "Thank God for Jim Jordan and Representative Comer. If it weren’t for them, we wouldn’t know any of this. So what do we do? Donald Trump is going to fight like hell. He’s going to win the nomination. He’s going to be the next president. This indictment that they came up with has got a bunch of — it’s going to hit a bunch of legal walls."
Graham is right to praise Reps. Comer (R-KY) and Jordan (R-OH), who, with their work on the House Oversight Committee, are doing everything in their power to hold the Biden Crime Family accountable. The American people are demanding action, and the 45th president is their true champion, their contender, who is holding the elites in D.C. and elsewhere to account.
