WATCH: Mother Of Murdered 12-Year-Old Jocelyn Nungaray SLAMS Kamala Harris For 'Half Apology' - 'She Has No Sympathy'

On Friday, the mother of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray, Alexis Nungaray, slammed Vice President Kamala Harris after the Democratic presidential candidate refused to apologize for promoting policies that allowed the illegal immigrants that killed Jocelyn to enter the country. The interview comes after Fox News host Bret Baier pressed Harris on migrant crime and asked if she would apologize to the grieving parents.

During the Fox interview with Baier, Harris said, "I will tell you that I am so sorry for her loss, but let's talk about what is happening right now with an individual who does not want to participate in solutions. Let's talk about that as well." In response to the brazen clip, Jocelyn's mother explained that the vice president has "no empathy."

"I think she's completely full of it, she is not a sincere woman at all. She has no sympathy, no empathy for her. She's supposed to if she wants to run this country, she needs to take into consideration the families she has affected with these policies she has allowed and that she has approved. It is unacceptable that she gave me a very empty, half-open apology to, thinking she was being sincere. [She] had to shift like she always does in every interview, she had to somehow shift it over to Trump. That makes absolutely no sense. Why can't you just take accountability like you should and actually try to make a difference? Maybe be humane and actually reach out to families that you have affected."

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, Jocelyn Nungaray was raped and killed in Houston earlier this year by Franklin Jose Pena Ramos and Johan Jose Martinez-Rangel, two Venezuelan illegal immigrants who crossed the border in El Paso, Texas, in early 2024. Both men were detained by Border Patrol but were later released into the country with a notice to appear before a court. Agents put an ankle monitor on Ramos following his release, and investigators have alleged that both men are affiliated with the Venezuelan criminal gang Tren-de-Aragua.

When confronted with these revelations, Alexis Nungaray said, "Why [did they] put an ankle monitor on them in the first place? Was anything noticed? Did anything come up? I always, now for sure, wonder, why did they need one now that this new information has come into the light. It really makes me wonder why were they released. This should have been something that was immediately thought of since they are Venezuelan natives. What they did [was] so heinous was [intentional], and these are the people that we so continuously decide to let in this country because of [Kamala Harris'] open border policies."
