WATCH: Newt Gingrich Says Trump Will Create A 'Tidal Wave' To Save The Republican Party In 2024

On Monday, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich argued that 45th President and leading 2024 Republican presidential contender Donald J. Trump would help increase the Republican majority in the House, should he win the Republican presidential nomination.

Gingrich directly refuted claims made by some Republicans that Trump would drag down congressional Republicans. Indeed, Gingrich, who knows something about Republican wave elections, argued that Trump would bring alienated voters out in droves. After all, the MAGA movement is about the everyman -- and it stands to reason that voters of all stripes would turn out for Trump in key states that the Republicans need to recapture the Senate and hold on to the House of Representatives.

"He will turn out a tidal wave of voters who are deeply alienated by what they see as corruption in Washington and as economic disasters. And I suspect we will win the Senate and increase the number of seats pretty dramatically in the House," Gingrich told Megyn Kelly during an appearance on Sirius XM's 'The Megyn Kelly Show.'

This comes after Gingrich told Fox News's Maria Bartiromo that Trump's first year in office would be astonishing indeed.

"I think his first year will be astonishing, and think people will be amazed how much he can get done, how big a team he can assemble," Gingrich said. "And, frankly, barring some enormous change, he is the most likely person to be the next president of the United States, something only Grover Cleveland ever achieved — being president, losing, and coming back ... Right now, the numbers are so overwhelming, Republicans ought to start focusing on how to beat [President Joe] Biden because I think at a practical level, they have a nominee, and his name is Donald Trump."

Trump is the leading Republican presidential contender and remains a potent force to win the presidency in 2024. The Real Clear Politics polling average has Biden and Trump neck and neck in most surveys. As such, it stands to reason that the Democrats would use any means necessary to gain a much-needed political advantage -- including indicting their most-likely political opponent. The opportunism of the Democratic Party never ceases to amaze and when it rears its ugly head, it is always disgusting to behold.

The most recent Georgia indictment is yet another case of 'Get Trump' rhetoric at work. We hope and pray that voters will see past the smoke screen of left-wing prosecutors to vote for their best interest in 2024. Our nation may depend on it.

I think the only republicans that dont want president Trump in the white house, they will be disappointed because true conservitives do!....And we believe last election president Trump won that one hands down, And after the smoke clears, history will have proved that!
